I used to be a brake lever puller and caliper tightener. I have switched to the lining the caliper up by eye method and it works!!

Crud guards utter, utter shite!!! I never even got 12 months out of mine!! I have just fitted Giant fenders to my Defy and….. after 3rides the rear bridge holder thingy snapped!!! SKS chromoplastics that were on my old pompy never failed, best mud guards by miles IMHO. Wish they would fit on my Defy 🙁

I was torn between the Trance and the Anthem I went down the Trance route. I have a 2010 X2 and I don’t regret it one bit. Climbs well and descends tremendously.

I have a hoodlum and….. I would never buy another one. The hood is useless as there are no draw strings, the fit isn’t the best either. My zip broke after a year of very light use i.e I just wore it hanging around in.

What’s the crack with bleeding them if you use these levers? My bleed port screw is knackered and a reservoir screw got chewed. It’s £8.99 for a bag of new screws and Christ knows what the EBT plugs go for, so £26 for 2 new levers isn’t so harsh.
