We only use them two mornings a week to give my wife a break (have a 5month and 19month old) but did pay £480/month for 4 days.

It sure does. The OS2 update banged it on there. I get my GMail through it.

Last time I drafted someone (usually a lone wolf :D) was on the Lincs 100 mile sportive and I was in rag order (don’t ask), I politely asked if he didn’t mind me sitting on his wheel.
If someone wants to sit on my wheel, I don’t mind as it doesn’t affect me in any way. Maybe I am too nice 😀

Welcome to my world! I live in Lincs and I always have flipping headwind!! Commute in and commute home it’s there, go out for a training ride and it’s like the wind is constantly taunting me. But… it does get you fit 😀

I have a Blackberry playbook. The screen is mint and the UI pees all over the iPad IMHO (I am an iPhone user). I think it’s a great bit of kit.

Just serviced my forks (lots of hours overdue 😀 ) and stuck in the low friction kit. The stanchions showed no sign of wear (phew) and there was cock all oil in there!!! However I do turn my bike upside down after every ride and use silicone lube on the stanchions.
Back OT the service is a piece of wee wee to do! I was gob smacked! The only major drama I had, was being an oaf and kicking over my new bottle of Fox green suspension oil 🙁 The rear shock is the next job 😀

I can honestly say I am gob smacked at how Giant have helped me out. I own a Defy road bike as well and…. I will be buying Giant again should I need a new bike. I am sending the warranty guy (think it was John, I am hopeless with names) some stuff as a thank you (he doesn’t do booze).

WOW!!!! Giant strike again!! They are sending me a set of rocker plates that they had kicking about there warehouse. Ok they may be white (mine are black and my bike is silver) but at least I have them.
What a company!

Bolt Extractor

PS, for future Bolt Extractors are good.
Drill a small hole slightly down the centre, Extractor has a course thread that grips and remove that way

Woah lots of responses!!! I have rang Giant to tug on their heart strings and they are being very helpful. I am waiting out to see if I need to buy a new one or not.

An even better way would be to go cap in hand to Giant and ask if they’ll sell you a new one from warrenty stock?

I used some packing tape from ebay in mine. £2.99 for lots of wheels worth.

Spoke to Giant and…………….They are sending me one out!!! What a company. The guy was most helpful.

Bloody hell!!! £25 to buy the “official ones” are they having a laugh??? Does anyone know what size bolt it is on te trance x? I know it’s M6x1.00 but not sure how long the shoulder or thread is. I am going to have to ez out mine and as I still need to ride it, I am not keen to do it just yet.

I got some mud sharks from On-One uber cheap.

Strava is ace at screwing up the figures. My Garmin says one thing, I upload the data to Strava and I have magically become faster by quite a few mph.

My DHB road shoes have not lasted 2 years. The heel is knackered from my short walk in them from when I commute. It’s not like I am a heavy oaf either (69kg).

I got a screen devil or demon from amazon. It works a treat. Had it on 2 years and it’s been fine.

My commute is around 15-16miles each way. Depending on how epic the wind is (lincs), depends on how quick usually 41 to 55 mins. On a tues I do a 30+ miler in the middle of the day with the club. Sometimes it can take its toll ie I am knacked by thurs night.
