How dare you post that up knowing I can’t look at it at work…

I thought you didn’t like gears anyway!

I have nothing against gears 😀

Swapouts enable you to run it as either singlespeed or geared.
I am umming and ahhing whether a Scandal will suit my personal riding needs.
I was way impressed by the Scandals I have come across, they are uber light and look sweet.

Personally I would go for the Scandal with swap outs 🙂
I know the Scandal is a sweet bike.

I have stuck the 2.1s on my singlespeed and I love them. They handled gloopy mud just fine and I never had any twitchy bum on roots moments.

Guitar is: Schecter Hellraiser 006 in black cherry finish (looks amazing). It has EMG active pickups (can switch it to single coils via the knob). It is an amazing guitar to play it can scream metal and play laid back too.
Comes with the case bits inside. There is one blemish which it has had from new (tried to capture it with the camera)

Seriously thinking about hitting the buy button on one of these. Think it may be perfect for soloing at Mayhem.

Get some luminous spray paint and spray around said pot holes.
    A. You can spot them easier b. someone may think it needs doing and repair it (this happened to a fella at our work)

After chuckling at one of my riding buddies swearing and hating every moment he had on a 29er at Cannock on Tues, I don’t think 26″ will die.

Get a micro hdmi lead plug into your tv and boom smart tv!! It’s good for showing pics and watching media. I paid £90 for mine early last year and its great. Part of me wants an iPad but I can’t justify that cost.

This is very true and also a very good idea!! Hospices are one of those things that a lot of people don’t know about. Support your local one, as you will be lost if it went!!

I think it’s all relative, as you don’t have gears to make going up easier lol.

I ride a Trance X2 and an Genesis io singlespeed (HT).
Keilder 100 2011 rode the Trance got cut at the penultimate check due to mechanicals.
Mayhem 2012 solo on my Genesis came in the top 10 solo finishers (wish I had registered as a singlespeeder)
I am riding Mayhem again (if I get in)on my singlespeed and I really would like a 29er rigid singlespeed for Keilder.
I felt fresher on my singlespeed than when I did Keilder on my FS. But that’s me 🙂

Don’t take this the wrong way, it’s just my personal experience.
Macmillan were awful with my Dad and my Auntie when they were had terminal cancer. We/they and her immediate family had no support from them. We asked numrous times and received nothing. I am glad others have had success with them, as I am sure they do good work. Unfortuantely for me they have left a bitter taste in my mouth and don’t get a penny.
My money and charity work goes to the local hospice (Wigan & Leigh) and Marie Curie as they are brilliant.

Miele washers come with a 5 year warranty. Ours had been working a treat for 7 1/2 years no dramas until something we washed killed the door glass 🙁

I just cut my hair on the landing and vacum it up. I had cordless clippers and they are cack in comparison to corded ones.
