Yup, just found out it was 73mm 🙂

Whipped a spacer out (force of habit sticking 2 in) and my front big ring changing woes have gone!!!

    Cheers for the reply 🙂

I think it’s a whole load better than 6. My 4S and iPad 3 are faster so that’s good as well 🙂 I like the unicorn land colours and icons too.

Mine gets used on a road bike!

How many Garmin devices have you had fail on you?

I had an Etrex before which lasted years (I even sold it on) and got knocked about on the mountain bike.
In a similar vein, my mates Garmin watch is playing up after 3 months and another mates premium HRM has given up at 13 months.

I think it’s reasnoble, £68 to replace something out of warrenty that spends it’s life in a pretty hostile environment for a box of sensitive electronics (wet, dusty, shakeing, occasionaly getting bashed).

But surely it’s designed to be used in that environment? Otherwise it’s not fit for purpose. For what they charge for them, I think it’s a joke for the device lasting that long. If I’d smashed the screen then that’s fair enough, but I haven’t; it’s just randomly started playing up.

Get to Aldi next Thursday 🙂

The only other gloves which have kept my mitts warm (which came as a shock) are the Spesh Enduro gloves.

Bought cheap (well one light was £90), realised it was rubbish and ended up with Hope and Exposure 😀

I had one with my wife (before we got married) for 5 years. I’m in the RAF and it was tough at times.
    We’ve been together 13 1/2 years now 😀

I really rate the Ridebosh tights. I have bought another pair as my ill fitting, Aldi cheap ones have finally died.

Mine and all my mates do it. I greased my axles (ooh err) as they were dry (as did all my mates) and it stopped. Fella I work with has just bought some new ones, 3 weeks in they are creaking. I’ve had no dramas with my 105s

Good rear light + orange hi viz clothing coupled with reflective stuff on the legs is best. I wear one of these
for my winter commute as it’s mostly unlit roads.
It’s not fashionable, but lots of people comment on how visible I am.

I put a scratch in someone’s car by accident, after they decided it was a car path as opposed to a footpath. I had both my sons in the pram at the time, so I was buggered if I was going in the road. I felt a tiny bit guilty at the time (soon passed though). It does really grind my gears that people are that inconsiderate. The worst ones are those who have a massive drive then do this???

I had a go on the Scott mountain e bike (Aspect) and it was a hoot. I was giggling whilst riding it. If they get folk riding who cares? If someone overtook me on one, I am sure my ego wil survive.

I had the iPad, iPad mini dilema a bit ago. I ended up getting a refurb 64GB iPad 3 for £340 🙂 I am glad I went full size as STW mag and other mags are a dream to read on it. On demand TV is fantastic and web browsing is immense. My PC is relegated.

I fondly remember the street where I grew up. There was loads of kids and we had full reign 😀 It was ace!!! I feel sorry for kids nowadays. I go mad at the nutters who seem to think our cul de sac is the perfect place to speed 😯 Child’s face and all that!!

    Get a better LBS.

Of course you can. I’m 5’7″ and ride a Medium EL Mariachi. Salsa do two sizes smaller than that…*

I too am the same size and ride a medium El Mar (best bike I’ve ever owned as well).
