My medium geared el Mariachi complete build (44mm tube) will be up for sale very soon.

Spec wise,the fsa cranks would be off straight away, as I had them on my el mariachi and hated them. I’ll use an adapter and put my slx on. Wheel wise I have arch ex on pro 2 evos to use. Can’t stand nobby nics anyway.

As a roadie as well a racy feel isn’t an issue. My current bike setup is stretched out and head down.

I went from iPhone 4s to z1 compact. I am not going back to apple anytime soon put it that way!!!

I’m not much more slower on my TCX SLR 2 with 700×38 Halo Twin Rails than I am on my carbon road bike. I prefer the CX bike if I’m honest, as it offers me the ability to deviate my route off road should I wish (and I usually do).
I am actually contemplating getting rid of my road bike.

Yup they need a bit of force (wheel out is easier).

Where I currently live is classed as urban. I’m lucky if I get 2MB. My house in a rural lincs village,I had 16mb!!! bloody BT

Giant as at least you can walk into a dealer to try it and there’s a face if you have an issue. Plus Giant’s customer service is rather good. (I’m on my 4th Giant)

Got the Scott windstopper one and it’s bloody marvellous.

Another el mariachi lover. Raced(ish) mine for.24hours singlespeed and geared. The pick up test shows it to be heavy. However riding it is another thing. It doesn’t feel heavy. I love it and sold my fs because of that reason.

Mud tyres and a sense of humour should do.it :D.

god knows what my bike weighs. It feels heavy when I pick it up. But IMHO it doesn’t ride like a heavy bike. Let’s be honest if you’re an unfit giffer the lightest bike in the world isn’t going to make you terrahawk.

The DWR is all about the water beading as opposed to keeping it out (I think).
