Having had the honour to spend time with this guy Andrew Weisman whilst doing Long March.
He couldn’t handle going to Auschwitz and talking about it anymore after what happened to his own family (he had me welling up). How anyone can deny these atrocities never happened is beyond me.

Went and had a look at a 1.2 TSI 105 Roomster with DSG last night. Bloody liked it!! However, I am not liking the idea of the DSG after reading up on how fragile they are!!

Need to keep my eye out for a manual one.

Yup done mayhem and bonty solo quite a fee times with no crew (I don’t like people 😉 ). It takes a lot of prep (sort all your food, kit, spares etc) but it’s more than doable. Ride a HT and there’s less to go wrong.

f nothing else it certainly would help build up your own personal dictionary of passwords for future hacking

No need to build your own when they are in the public domain.

Mate of mine had the vxr220 (the actual.one the stig drove on top gear) and it is the only time I’ve been scared in a car. I think they look ace.

Fair enough, but does that relate to the serious international gangs work, rather than local IT chav chancers? which appears to be the case here. Not down playing it, but appears to be different circumstances in this case.

Not wanting to topic hijack. But in a lot of aspects yes. They will use scripts that lurk in webpage code, hide files in the bit torrent? Games patches that aren’t from the vendor? The crims and the dude in the bedroom are just as clever as each other.

This guy was a bedroom attacker (snigger)

    I’m stealing your internetz[/url]

Check out these videos (its not conspiracy theories)

But they highlight the points of being aware of your own footprint and trusting online.

Anti virus and anti malware is only good if the companies know it exist! Being aware and cautious is the main problem.

We have some malware which was done in house by a colleague to demo as part of the cyber awareness course I’ve started delivering. Upto date anti virus etc doesn’t pick it up. But it’s good at nicking people’s logins, screen grabs and access to their files. Makes our candidates think about it.

Prime example of daftness, I bought my Chromebook off eBay, the woman gave me her google login (taped to the box) as she didn’t know how to clear it. I had access to her entire online life. Luckily for her, I am not a criminal so I told her and suggested she changed her passwords.

Could be from: key loggers, xss, malware…….. Do you do any personal stuff on open wifi? As that’s an ace way for folk to meander onto your system.

It’s utter rubbish that this fraud isn’t taken seriously by the police! Jeez what’s the point?? For the future though, this website is quite good at checking your password strength https://howsecureismypassword.net/%5B/url%5D There are no nasties in the code to worry about.

Hope you get it sorted out.

Just had my certificate and bill through from the original plumber. He hasn’t tested the gas hob (which I told him that needed doing in the email).

So I have to get that tested as well!!!!

I am trying to think of the best way to phrase **** off I’m not paying you in my correspondence.

So far I’ve had to pay: Emergency plumber fee to get the boiler working again, another plumber to come and safety test the hob.

    Lessons have been learned here.

No chat rooms, no discussion boards. No help. No course co-ordinator.

WTF? Worst online degree ever? The whole point of online and distance learning is bouncing ideas off fellow learners (like what you would do at a real world uni.

    Hope you get sorted.

I paid £720 for the Boardman pro by going in and negotiating a lower price. I then went and ordered the vouchers.

Is the OP doing it by distance learning? If so I sympathise! I am not coding, but distance learning is bloody hard (currently on a path to a BSc in IT & Comms including ethical hacking).

I binned road pedals for the commute and I’ve never looked back. MTB SPDs are a whole world away in: walking properly, not replacing cleats all the time and less faff. A whole load cheaper too. In use the cheap trail pedals.
