Then a friend of the agent puts in a cheeky offer and the owners accept because they just just want to get it sorted and get their cash, and they are scared it won’t sell.

Unfortunately, the vendors were not budging on price!!! Some stuff has been for sale for almost a year. One place, as well as the house being left to rack and ruin (years of tenants and no money spent) the lean to conservatory needed ripping down as pretty much every UPVC panel was shot. The seller (who lived abroad) was convinced it was the best house on the estate 😆 I do wonder what planet some folk are on!

I’m in this predicament now. My house sold in 10days as it was worth the money(I’d invested in keeping on top of maintenance). However some of the prices on the places we are looking at are barking. Examples are: not been decorated in 20 years, original kitchen and bathroom that are dropping to bits. Zoopla and right move are my life ATM.

Just had a toot in one and a Qubo at a dealers. By eck they are huge!!!!! Hmmmmmmmmmm *strokes chin* the Qubo is funky but the boot is too small.

I need a baby sitter!!!!

They are awesome in a weird way. I would have one for lugging the kids and bikes about.

I spent a lot of time in Oman and the Saudis are such a bunch of hypocritical arses. “It’s Friday,let’s drive to Muscat and get smashed!!!” So bloody arrogant as well. Bahrain or Oman I would definitely go and work “short term” (at least there’s an MTB and road scene in and you are not looked at like an alien in Oman). It’s not a way of life that I could do long term. The malls and having to goto a hotel for a drink (getting hassled by hookers) etc gets old.

My mate who runs marathons, just goes commando with decent running shorts that have a liner.

Don’t worry about it and enjoy the ride.

I sold my Defy and Focus carbon road bike after getting my Giant TCX. If you don’t ride it, sell it.

I rode a Scott e bike and thought it was an absolute hoot! I’ve said it before, if I had a long commute I would consider one as shirley it’s still better than taking the car? Also for those whose health limits their exertion they have to be a good thing?

I wasn’t overly impressed as the wind was minging. I almost had a toddler tantrum 😆 My personal thought was lots of uphill slog for not much gain. The event however is brilliant. The feed stations are fantastic, the staff are friendly, the routes are clear and the whole atmosphere is very good.

Cheers for that. My post wasn’t a moan BTW! I think what Sustrans do is good. I was just a tad confused as the sign only pointed to the left. The old railway line was awesome and I will be using it for family rides.

Route 55 is near me. I decided to go check out the route to Stafford. I got to Gnosall via the road and I don’t know if I missed a sign or something, as by the chippy and bmx jumps, the only way I could see was to Newport.

I need to know where this maze is. I live over that way and haven’t a bloody clue.
