I did get bored of Revolution after a couple of series

I didn’t even make it through the 1st episode 😆 I was disappointed as it sounded like it would be ace.

FTWD looks like it should be good. The 1st episode left me a little bit meh, but the 2nd one was brilliant IMHO.

Mine has genuinely surprised me at how capable it is off road (Giant TCX). I giggled like a school kid when I hit a big ass bomb hole that I didn’t know was coming up. I also had utter disbelief when a massively dried up and heavily rutted bit of trail didn’t make me do a superman impression. Personally though, I will keep the MTB for that kind of stuff (yes I am a wuss)

Giant warranty, helped me out for free when a ham fisted oik (it wasn’t me) drilled a hole in my old Trance’s rocker plate.

E.ON, for hounding and threatening to take us to court and have baliffs come round etc, for the thousands of pounds that we owed. They had my wife in tears about it, as I was away for 4 months in Oman.

Best thing about it, they didn’t provide our energy and hadn’t done for just under 4 years!! I must have called them well over 20 times about the situation, to which I was told “yes, it’s sorted now”.

Absolute bunch of clueless morons (I would use a much stronger word here).

Cheers for that 🙂 It’s helped me with getting an aerial shot map of everywhere we’ve lived.

I work in “cyber security” and it isn’t sexy 😆

As said up there ^^ you look at a terminal swearing mostly 😀

Plus it’s not all “lets fire up some software and launch it at things” you actually have to do some of that there thinking.

Thread resurrection. It appears that I have been wearing a mask for quite a few years. My coping mechanism has gone pop and I’ve been diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression. I’m being assigned counselling and have been pointed towards moodgym (It seems good). I think the fact that I’m injured and haven’t been able to ride or exercise for a few months, has made it more apparent. Maybe this is a good thing? As at least I’m doing something about it. All I know is, that feeling like this sucks! I’m a “there’s always someone worse off than me” kind of person, and I should be grateful; but at the moment I am struggling to do that.

    This felt a bit liberating.

We have a Panda Pop 2013 model and it’s a little pocket of fun. It’s not high level plastics and it’s basic inside. But it is cheap and frugal motoring. They are a giggle round corners.

If you add Aloe Vera juice to the water you will lose 80lbs!! or is that £80? I’m not too sure.

While I agree with this I’m not sure how you can identify the lone/random terrorists without some sort of wider surveillance to find them in the first place. Just at a practical level.

Go and read some of the Snowden leaks 🙂 There is some very enlightening stuff.

If you have nothing to hide, why would you care?

This saying really irks me. If I want someone to listen to my private business I will invite them to do so. I don’t expect my private communication to be open season for anyone who has the right tools to view it (not just the government, hackers, cyber criminals…..).

Mr Clegg has it right “We have every right to invade the privacy of terrorists and those we think want to do us harm, but we should not equate that with invading the privacy of every single person in the UK. They are not the same thing.”

The only winners in this are the VPN companies!!!

It’s chaos but fun. Watch out for the “pros”, I got grief for having the audacity to stop at a red light 😆 . I’ve not done it for a few years due to other stuff, but I used to ride from Ashton-in-Makerfield to the start, ride to Blackpool then ride back again. It was a great day out. Enjoy it 🙂

Is this another one that’s part of the aloe vera cult??? There’s bloody loads of folk trying to palm this kind stuff off on Facebook.

There’s no quick fix. Eat less but more healthy and move more. I’ve bought one of those breville active blends as die to a gammy leg I can’t do any cardio ATM. Making a milk, fruit and oat smoothie at breakfast sees me right through to lunch and I find I don’t eat as much for lunch either.

The aircon in our school went kaput this morning. I teach in a room with server equipment and lots of other it Gubbins and…… No windows. By eck it was warm!! Regular breaks and an early stack stopped them falling asleep.

Cheers guys, you may have saved me a few quid . The site is due to be completed by the end of the year (luckily our plot is at the opposite end) so I can go and waggle fingers at someone if needed 😆
It’s detached and to be fair the house is quite well soundproofed (we did not set out to buy a newer house because of such things).
The house I’ve just sold was 24 years old so I had dealt with the major diy and was on top of the minor niggles.
