i hate the job but there is noway i can complain, a good few close friends have been let go recently in other jobs and its brought home how lucky i am.

infact when i get out of the car in the works carpark and walk to the door i whisper to myself “you have a job” – its bloody scary out there and i feel for anyone going through the mill at the moment.

i worked a season in NZ and there was hardly any agro between boarders and skiers over there.

you get it alot more on the european slopes…

I should have given more info..

She has solid food for breakfast , lunch and normally late afternoon, whether it be a small jar, some mashed up fruit/veg.

I think she may not been getting enough milk in, were currently only giving her 6oz water then 6 spoons of powder.

We have tried changing he nappy in the middle of the night but she kicks of bigtime and to be honest is still half asleep.

With regards to the controlled crying we are not going to go back to this, we tried it for a week and she cried for about 4 hours and had several accidents, not putting her through that again

I get what you’re saying above about going with the flow and when they are a wee bit older maybe they will have more grasp of what’s happening…

It’s ironic as the poor thing had her first bad cold a few weeks back and she was so tired and ‘calpol’d’ up she used to sleep straight through and we had to literally wake her up!

havent read all of the above but OPENDNS is great, your just point your router DNS to it and through an admin panle you can block up to 20 websites and its free.

it happens when driving AND idling, so it must be something connected to the aux belt?

we’d get shot of it but know its history so mayaswell drive it into the ground, got no choice to be honest.

The Quinny is used and the buttons are slightly stiff, if you have not used this type of pram before it can take a little while to get the hang of opening and closing (by that I just mean knowing which side to click and which side to slide!)

There is an instruction video on Utube which I found very useful!!!

The height adjustor does not work from the button, but needs to be altered manually.

Theres life left in the wheels and most parts are easily replacable anyway.

My daughter has simply grown out if.

my mate was recently ‘let go’ from a well known driving school. (they have a COLOUR in their name 😉 and was with BSM and on his own years before…

he has been in the game for 20 years, he now works in another industry and cannot be happier and was glad to get out.

i would storngly advise against it seeing what happened to my mate.

apart form the redlight which is funny for 5 minutes theres loads of nice bars further out from all the touristy crap. lichensplein (spl) 5 mins tram journey from centre a huge squre with loads of bars.

The obvious questions are why do you want a new one?

because i want sat nav, ipod connectivity all in one nice tidy unit/place.

They aren’t automatically reaching for the happy pills. There are now a lot more counseling services available. So if I were you I’d ask specifically about these as they can be helpful. If nothing else it might help to crystallise what the specific problems are you need to sort.

i hope this is true, our GP hands out ‘happy pills’ like smarties, im not for one minute saying you are a fake not at all, but ive seen people who just need a good kick up the arse go to the local doc and come out with bags of pills.

a few weeks later they are fine again having talked to friends, got stuff out in the open, got fit and healthy they didnt even taken the pills…

we had a new combi fitted in march and the guy who put it in said it is better for the system in the long run to keep it constant and let the thermostat do the work rather than have it off when your not in then it has to fight like hell to get up to temp.

i checked with our provider who we have gas and elecetric combined with and it has gone up about £20 a month, we can afford this and rather have a wamr house to come home to and when having a pee at 4am.
