good luck! i hope you dont regret it like i did.(if you read my post on you mian one about doing your cbt)

i would advise not getting big thick winter gloves but thinner waterproof ones and get heated grips and handlebar wind deflector thingies!

good luck again and watch out for wet manhole covers!

    One of Carpenter’s finest IMO.

Good god no man, The Thing was his finest moment 😉

but precinct 13 blew me away when i first saw it as kid, the soundtrack and the whole atmosphere he creates is amazing.

Predator 2 – massively underrated movie, Danny Glover’s finest hour.)

“F****ing voodoo magic maaaaaan!” (classic bit of the film)

oh ‘The Fog’ is still good aswell, scared the crap out of me as a kid!

    LOL..

i only watch it as it has the highest cringe factor possible, they believe their own sh*t.

some of the classic’s from the past have been that irish girl who claimed “i am probably the best sales person in EUROPE” Lord Sugar brought this up when he fired her, her face as she sunk in her chair was classic!

BUT the best one of all time was this idiot (who actually won it!!)

To all your slaggers, ive met him a few times through mutual friends, he’s thick as a brush but a nice lad at heart.

i love all you keyboard warriors love to have him stood infront of you when your spouting your crap;)

‘apparently’ he was enjoying a few beers with his new mate Tim and a laod of footie yobs started haivng a crack, they wound him up, wound him up and he finally lost it sparked a few of them out then someone owned him with a very large solid bar stool.

    Martyn Williams was world class

Sorry cannot agree, wonderfully talented and a joy to watch, he could do things no other flanker would but he was never world class. There have always been at least 5 players better than him. He’s no where near the standard of Mcaw.

    i agree 100%

ive had this before, you have to be really careful and read the small print, i think it was with the post office online they had a ‘auto renew button’ that was automatically clicked, i didnt notice this, changed insurer and they had me for 2 months worth.

they basically told me to f** off!

my wifes ex workmate had an affair with her old boss (husbands business partner) for 20 years… the husband never knew, the woman said it enhanced her marriage as she got her ‘bit on the side’ but kept the marriage stable and the kids grew up fine.

this is a minority i guess, i dont condone it by any means.

just one thing, the kids come first!

got the wildfire last month via o2 for £15 a month. unlimited texts, 100 free mins but no internet (i only use wifi at home on it and at work so didnt bother me)

great little phone, to me its just a fancy phone and i use a few apps. the desire has a way bigger screen which although nice i thought it would just be a pain in the arse to carry about.

i dont commute etc so i can imagine the desire would be better if your stuck on a bus/train.

I wish they would have a 90’s/britpop revivial festival, i reckon they would sell out easy if a few past big names took it up.

52 reg fiesta 2 x brand new budget Mohawk tyres £72 with tracking.

i drive like an old man so go for cheap everytime, i guess if i drove like a **** in the wet i’d be dead with them fitted.

if i had a nice flash shit off a shovel car i’d fit a premium brand mind or if i was a rep and did loads of miles.

i was never a ‘massive’ nirvana fan, for me pearl jam, alice in chains, soundgarden and stone temple pilots were way better. but i think bleach is better than nevermind.

i’ll never forget my mate bringing pearl jam’s TEN round my house and both of us constanltly playing it, i was 16 at the time and we both thought WTF is this!!!!

… i can see the whole raw thing of nirvana, i saw them twice live and they were dire, but i think they were very hit and miss live. pearl jam live on the otherhand are great musicians (the MTV unplugges is epic – (so is nirvanas to be honest haha 😉 and still one of the best gigs ive ever seen was stone temple pilots old scott was totally off his head!

alice in chains did a more mellow album ‘jar of flies’ thats worth a look if you havent heard it.

i had pearl jams ‘given to fly’ blasting on the ipod in the car the other day!

Therapy? mention above too, saw them on tour last year, bloody
brilliant has as much energy as when i saw them 12 years earlier!

maybe im getting old and have my rose tinted specs on but most of the music around these days is utter sh*te!

w*nkers in petrol stations who wait till they can use a pump thats on the same side as their filler cap.

THE PIPE IS LONG ENOUGH TO REACH THE OTHER SIDE YOU F*CKING ****!!! and don’t give me that b*lox you car is too high etc etc, just pull forward more 😉

in addition to the above, our local tescos has one of the greatest inventions of the last 100 years ‘pay at the pump’, SO why do evenmore **** still go into the garage to pay???????!!!!?????!!! (and no they dont go in to get a paper or a sandwich cos ive watched them!)

people who take more than 15 seconds at a cashpoint! a laser should come out bond style and cut them in half.

people who take ages in a supermarket, let all their stuff pile up then start to bag up. again bond stlye laser should appear and cut them in half.

people who drive down the road with parked cars on their side, they have no spatial awarness and A- either chicken out and dont pull out as they have loads of room and hold you up OR B- you are coming the otherway, they pull out way too far as they think they will hit the parked car but infact make you swerve. (wouldnt they rather hit a stationary car than a moving one??) this is made far worse by peoplewho have a brand new car “eeerrrgh i dont want to scratch it so i will drive 2mph” TW*T!!!

w*nkers who use disabled/children parking bays when they are neither disabled or have children. they should have snipers on the rooftops taking these out.

i really need to chill out!

Newport is a sh*thole, i live 6 miles from IT.

how the hell it got city status is a total mystery, in its hayday it was a nice place but im talking yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago.

its stuck between a rock and a hard place as they havent really got the cash to pump into it, nobody goes there and Cwmbran a town near it has stolen all the customers from the shops.

they messed up few years ago when they stopped the damming of the river, this would have helped a bit.

i would put a big vote in for blackpool aswell, sadly i ended up there on a stag party 4 years ago… i was actually looking forward to it until we got off the bus, another place that will never get back the glory days… sad i guess.

    any DIY!!

the inlaws gave us the money to stick a conservatory on the back of the house 5 months before the new baby was due….

had to paint the conservatory (one side was a wall)the same colour as the living room and stairs. of course **** here goes to b&q and buys matt paint not silk!!!

so that turned into re-doing the living room aswell, then the stairs, then the landing! i nearly went insane.

but the worst part, as im an idiot, when we first moved in i used the sh*te that is ‘Polystyrene coving’!! the father in law got me to take this off so he could put on ‘proper’ stuff!!

by the end of the 2 weeks i booked off work i was hardly talking to the in-laws but what could i say as they gave us the cash… i still have the nightmares!

i had a honda varadero 125 (i would advise one of these rather than a moped) it is a baby version of its big brother, you sit pretty high up and is a bit more beefy than a moped.

    anyway…

i sold my car to help save money for when the baby came,

    Pro’s

    £15 road tax
    silly MPG
traffic jams dont exist (if you have the guts to slip through them)

    Con’s

Outlay for helmet, jacket, trousers, gloves, then water proof stuff

When it rained it sucked, not just getting wet but not being able to see jack shit sometimes

I had to setup the back garden to accomodate the bike

The whole shirt and tie affair in work was a pain in the arse.

    Did i mention the rain?

You are TOTALLY invisible on a motorbike, you will see the road in a very, very different way and when/if you go back to a car you will appreciate it.

i come form a biking family aswell, they never appealed to me but it was a means to an end.

would i ever get another bike, i doubt it.

    just my 5p worth,

A pallet jack works well, my mate used to live opposite a B&B and the owner would just jack up the unauthorised vehicle and dump it in the bus lane.

we do alot of work for the oil companies, the north sea stuff is slowly drying up, were refurbing alot of our kit as they are not putting new stuff in because they say theres abotu 10 years left if that.

but theres still loads left in russia (sakhalin) and by all accounts theres a shit load in the arctic but they are years away from engineeirng special drills that wont mess up the eco system, but they will never win the right to actually drill there. (all this is hearsay through contacts of contacts of contacts in work)

Cheers for all the replies (well all but one)

I agree not worth claiming, ive searched and a new blueray player is about £70-£80 and doesnt seem to hard to fit.

People claim for being cack handed and dropping a toy? That’s like claiming for a new rear mech because you fell off your bike and it hit a rock. No wonder insurance is so expensive, just learn from it and don’t be so clumsy

you need to get laid fella!
