i lost my father after a long hard battle with cancer 5 years ago, i know deep down that if he had had this option there is noway he would have put himself and the family through those horrible last few weeks when he was at home.

ours (just turned 1) has been and will continue to go to our childminder one day a week (with grandparents two other days of the week), there are two other children with them and in my eyes they get alot more attention.

we have alot of friends with children some with child minders and some in a nursery. in most cases the ones with the child minders seems slighlty more… advanced, maybe thats too storng a word but they seems to talk more and not get freaked out as much.

We have only gone off the onboard computer, last month we drove from Belfast to cork mostly on motorways and it gave us 32.4mpg. I read on a ford forum that you should never trust the computers, ours has the 17” wheels and they reckon the computer calculates off the 16” standard wheels???

it think we just had a big shock coming from the fiesta where you would bang £20 in and it would last over a fortnight!

We really should do the full proper test and fill it right up then empty it and take note of mileage etc then fill it backup.

I might just go to the garages just to see what they will offer, I know were going to loose out a bit but you never know.

cheers all, one garage has a 2006 fiesta 1.4tdci, new model of our one for £4750 with 66k on the clock. im sure he would go for that but i guess it would be suicide for us?

i may look for another slighly better mileage one, i guess i can only ask… bloody knew we shouldnt have gone big!

we had the same as you, ended up looking at every other option supplier and there wa sonly £2 or £3 quid in it!

we kept the sky box and pay a minimal fee to keep the sky + facility, so we have freesat but with + faclity

its amazing the channels you dont get on freesat though, so beware!

flipping the Master Cylinder seals that is – but I’ve not seen it on a Zafira, so I’d start by clamping off the front brake hoses – use a proper clamp, or loads of rags wrapped around some mole grips.

spot on, same for pretty much all modern’ish cars, did the wifes fiesta the other week and the haynes manual had a ‘warning box’ said to do the exact same thing, just top up afterwards.
