I had the same question, I went for the lapierre if only because it looks gorgeous. Only picked it up yesterday and got 10% off from my LBS.

you could try turning off the rads that are working. it may shift any air in the pipes if downstairs is drop fed.

I fancied having it done but me and the girl that administers the treatment have previous history if you know what i mean, so i would expect she would use the large hose. obviously i gave it a miss.

I learned to ride a unicycle at 9 years old, took a day to learn and the insides of my legs were black and blue. Like riding a bicycle, once to learn to ride you never forget.

    great party piece.

I have bought shed loads from CRC in the past, never have i had to wait more than a few days for things to arrive.

I have just sent back an endura stealth jacket that is having a few problems at the seams. I sent an e mail about my troubles and they were apologetic and just said pop it back in the post to us and we will sort it. I will see how i get on but dont anticipate any drama.

    Applause +1 for CRC

I would not recommend a heat gun on a frozen pipe.

    Why not?

heat cant burst a pipe the thaw of the pipe only shows the burst that was created by the frozen water.

obviously i am talking about copper pipes and not the plastic used a bit these days.

If your pipes are frozen, turn off the water at the main, if you have any pipe bursts they will only show when the pipes thaw out.

few of the lads round our way using the DX lights.

Battery life and light is pretty good and not much down on light against my hope v4

£50.00 def worth the money but be prepared to wait 4 to 5 weeks for delivery.

the crank with a pedal stuck on it is already damaged! seriously though you will be surprised how much heat the crank will take. A plumbers blow lamp is ideal.

Heat on the end of the crank and a good non ball ended allen key. 🙂

I got one cheap early this year to try the 29er thing and totally converted me, enough to build a good spec on one 29er SS.

thats the problem, stated in stock but when you order and pay for the kit they then e mail to say out of stock.

PS got my wheel from On one.

i looked into getting a fsr 29er from the usa but decided against it as the duty would amount to about 21%

did find a really helpfull dealer though who was prepared to dirty a new bike up and sell it as a demo to keep the (stated) value down.

I decided to stick to an on one 29er SS

    gears are so last season.

I was told the reason specialzed paint there demo bikes so load is so they can sort of keep track on the dealers and whether they sell them on instead of providing a demo for use.
