Would suggest that the rear mech outer fitted to tight and no slack to allow for rear travel.

anyone can take a product and say its shite, the same way as a cockney **** always has a mate that could have bought something cheaper than what you paid. when the OP engineer mate produces a calliper bett er and at the same cost then he is in a position to criticise .

+1 here for the gaslow set

not only is the gas cheap as chips but you dont have to worry about disconnecting the bottles to change and also you can top up before you head out on a long trip so you can have two full bottles in stead of maybe half a bottle ( if you get what i mean)

A mate of mine just bought the scale 20 online and it was massive in fact his balls rested either side of the top tube when standing over it.

Not sure I would buy any carbon fork off ebay for safety.

Do you ride hard? or just xc? I've gone back to rigid steel so I don't have to watch my fork move around and creek.

Well i can assure you i dont pussy about on mine and i have never had reason to worry about my forks. Think you must read to many mags. Just ride 😀

You don't need a tensioner hanging down with an Alfine on a vertical dropout. Just get one of the eccentric bottom bracket kits being used by the single speed crowd. You may also need a halflink depending on your sprocket sizes.

    Look here for them
and here for how to calculate number of links required

If in doubt talk to a single speeder.

If you are running on a full sus like the OP asked you will need a tensioner

will hub gear work well with full suss frame?

It will with a sprung tensioner.

Depending what goggles you have you can get a liner for the lens, forget what ther called but but it is basically like double glazing and it works. try a motocross shop.

you can hardly call CRC shite for you making unrealistic demands. have you ever shipped a parcel to nepal from northern ireland? why you would expect a company to ship for free.

When you say its a common problem, is this common problem sorted out with an upgraded free hub, info online seems a bit scarce.

blow compressed air down the side from an air line, works for putting them back on also.

I cant believe just how easy and how well ghetto tubless works. I have even changed tyres without upsetting the ghettos tube.

Quite why anyone would pay upwards of 20 quid for stans tape it beyond me.

the end2end has grown into a massive event in the Isle of Man and is used as a challenge for locals not necessarily into MTB I know their are a few regular locals a bit pissed of as they missed out getting an entry in this year.

that was my gripe, only ordered from them twice, first time was for some rims which in the end they couldnt supply and now a pair of xtr shifters.

next time i shall just stick to CRC or Merlin i think.

I normally run single speed 32/18 on my 29er but round these parts are very hilly and you get no rest when your out with a group so i took a punt and bought a built alfine wheel running it the same 32/18 set up.yes you have to back of for it change gear sometimes if under load but it aint that bad. I tend to just keep it in 4th and only use other gears on killer hills or fast road keeping up.

    Recommended? yes.
