I have a kipour 1.9 kw genny 2000 SI , quiet and was a copy or the honda, not seen them advertised much these days though.

Think it was priced about 300 quid about 3 years ago.

I had a set of yellow tuff’s great untill the front wheel bearing cups broke, think there was a retro fit mod to repair but as i remember it cost as much as a new wheel.

“If you are really struggling i think you can run them on red diesel instead of heating oil.

Looking on the Net seems to agree”

Heating boilers will run on diesel but not without burner fuel pump pressure, air and nozzle adjustments. It may fire up but it will eventually soot up and stop and then you will perish and die lonely.

normally 0.5to 1 bar on a standard house, be sure to test pressure with the heating not under pressure, IE pressure relief valve opened.

£45.00 paypal gift will be fine thanks. 😆

been using an alfine 8 speed hub on my 29er scandle 32/18 works a treat. tend to ride it like a single speed most of the time but its nice to have the option to change gear on a crazy up or down hill section, I personaly think there the future once the weight has been sorted.

happened on a bumpy flat dry track, still waiting to hear on the warranty.

Oosh. How long have you been waiting to hear and how old is the bike? I'm interested to see how the manufacturer responds.

    Cheers,

mollyiom what makes you really think that DH riders don't go out and ride 40 miles of XC one day and then ride DH the next and then ride 50 miles of road the next day. I do.

Can I suggest you keep your bigoted opinions to yourself.

Or go out and try it and meet some of the riders and realise they're just mountian bikers like the rest of us, assuming you have the skills of course.

A chairlift would be a great idea. Maybe the lift its self wouldn't make money, but the overall net revenue for the area may well make it viable. It's not just full-on DH riders that would use it.

Chill out dude, mucho respecto for the down hillers it was a tongue in cheek comment but lets be realistic here it just isnt going to happen. you may as well ask for a mono rail connection from the south whilst yer at it.

cordless angle grinder with a thin cutting blade will have it sorted in no time, just stop bowing to the H & S brigade and get on with it. or pretend you are steeling it for real, whats the worst that can happen?

I have just returned from a trip to Grizedale and apart from the north face trail I did leave a little disappointed. I was armed with a few trail maps but felt that there was lots hidden that i was missing out on. its a shame really with such a good centre that there aint more marked trails of the fire roads.

Its really weird the prejudice against crank brothers wheels. yes there has been a problem with the free hub which has been rectified no fuss so all is well albeit with a little inconvenience. No different to when ive had problems with my hope vision 4 lights as well as dozens of others in our night group which meant they had to get sent back to hope to get sorted. yes great service from hope etc but does every one say hope lights are crap? No, just how great hope are at fixing there problems.

not a fan of the skelatool as it uses bits instead of designated screwdriver 'tools' been using leatherman tools for years and literally worn out 3 till there was not much blade left.

current leatherman is a 'kick' compact and light. quality!

use it at work everyday and feel lost without it.

Apart from the hub issue,, which to be fair comes with a two year warranty i am pleased, they have had a fair bit of abuse in the short time ive had them, Folks who know me will vouch that im not the easiest on bikes, i still think they will take the rough like my old KTM enduro bike, still true anyway and IMHO look the dogs!

ouch!! mine just back with a new free hub, im assured that the problem is sorted but would be lieing if i wasnt thinking about it driving a big gear up a hill today.
