Seems your not the only person that can’t lie their bike on the ground.

They are actually 47c and the rims are wider than the recommended use for the turbo trainer tires in 27.5

    Cheap wheel it is then!

I ordered a lost lad, hopefully it’s okay.
As someone who wants to ride from there door but doesn’t enjoy road riding (I like zwift but it’s sad not going outside) and doesn’t want to ride an enduro bike round I’m hoping it will provide a cheap entry into more saddle time!

Already thinking about 1x as I prefer it on my mtb, but will see

Do you still acquire annual leave whilst on furlough?

Other things to note, they’ll destroy your grass, they like to take stuff and make you run round trying to get it back but they are cute

I have a 6 month old lab pup, she has chewed a few bits in the house but nothing major.
Crate training has been the key for us, she doesn’t mind it, it’s her space before I get called cruel. The crate stops her destroying stuff and keeps her safe

Family have always had labs, and she’s no different. Proper playful, wants to play with everyone and everything, wouldn’t hurt anyone (puppies sometimes bite you and it hurts, not on purpose)

Also I’m not saying to do this, but labs are known for being able to be left for longer periods of time. It’s important to leave them so they don’t become anxious when you do & they like to rest.

Also if you get a puppy, remember loads of walks isnt necessarily good for the dogs health long term. Obviously once the dog is fully grown they’ll walk miles but not when young.

In line with recommending what you already have in single track fashion, fox reds are the best

Had a look at vauxhall combos? Cheaper and don’t seem to rust

What I wonder is, how much difference would the average rider notice between say 42 & 37mm offset when the frame is designed for 37mm offset?

I know a few people put off buying frames as it’s recommended 37mm offset and they don’t want to buy new forks

After loosing the charge cover of my magura seatpost and not being able to get a replacement, I’d already think twice before buying anything electric for my bike again!!

If it makes you feel better my other half took our puppy to the vets as she ate some daffodils shoots and was being sick, it cost £70 for the honour.

She is a Labrador and will eat anything, but I guess better safe than sorry!

I’ve had no luck finding something, so cancelled the order of the new shifter.

Will try find one with a the bar clamp on it already, thanks for the help!

Anyone got a link to these half price eagle cassettes as I can’t see them?

I’ve ran 12 speed since the beginning basically, I live in a flat area so when I go further afield riding I find the added range helps get me up the hills, would I be okay with less range? Maybe, maybe not.

    As for setup,
XT rear mech- it’s almost out lasted the 2 previous eagle mechs.
GX eagle shifter- will swap to a Shimano if I could find stock, again would go xt
GX eagle cassette- needs replacing, but the cheapest I can find a cassette is currently £110, which is cheaper than going microspline and Shimano.

Don’t forget you can also get a nx cassette which is 50-11 from memory that fits on normal Shimano freehubs if you don’t have xd

Weighting up ditching the GX eagle cassette for a Shimano xt, already have an xt mech.

Purely depends on the availability and the cost of the microspline.

Other option is just got for an x01 cassette, not overally keen to get anything GX eagle again in honesty

extra10 wouldn’t work for me with black Friday.

I ordered some small storm pants that don’t fit me, if anyone wants them for the same price before I return them?

I’m running eagle everything on a Shimano derailleur so I’m sure it’ll work the other way about.

    Thanks!

Cheapest I can find the xt derailleur, this is the right one? Always used SRAM so abit of a learning curve.

    https://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/shimano-xt-rd-m8100-1×12-speed-rear-derailleur-847401?currency=3&delivery_country=190&varid=847403&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-b7qBRDPARIsADVbUbWxxV13k2-W5jsqIA9nfDbFxPx8Z9kFpnuAsZ6Un-6R-CyILOBH82AaAiqhEALw_wcB

Matched with an XT shifter, anyway of pairing that to a SRAM match maker to keep things easy?

    Thanks

I was there last Saturday night from 18.30 to 20.30ish. I didn’t see anyone, at all, it had been raining but there was no one in sight so I’d say you’d be fine.

Brandon side would be my choice. Plus there’s some good single track over there.

I’ve been told about people living in the woods but I’ve never actually seen them!

I can confirm the wolf tooth kit works, my GX eagle now works and there’s zero issues. Just saved me a fortune on a new hub and wheel build, thanks for the help!

I did have too re dish the wheel, it took me 15minutes to do including finding a spoke tool and watching a YouTube video.

Thanks for the help! I’ve ordered a boostinator HR kit, so fingers crossed it solves it!

Identiti mettle, I feel like I’ve reached the limit.

There is a washer with the hope boost kit that is maybe 2mm thick, perhaps I’ll move that to the other side and see if it moves it over enough while still letting the brake not rub.

I should’ve said, I can’t push the derailleur over to it, despite what I do with the low limit screw, it just seems like it won’t go far enough, even if I let the cable off too, starting to think something is bent however I had it set up prior to this on a pro 4 boost hub and it worked fine.

Anyone got a link for the jockey wheels that are non SRAM? Preferably the ‘pimp alloy ones’?
