I think it’s just one of those random things only a Windows reinstall will fix.

I’d do the local content thing, but the iplayer program uses kontiki p2p software which screws up a number of games I play.

It sounds like a logical way to do it, but what sort of time frame are you looking at for the entire ‘renovation’. Becuase if you are thinking months, you may well find bits are worn out before you get the new frame.

On that premise, and the fact that this bike is pretty much junk to you, I’d ride the drivetrain into the ground and not change that until you are set to get the new frame.

Forks, wheels and brakes will all last ages, so just upgrade in the area that you find most pressing tbh.. you may well find those three in particular are linked, so it’s probably worth doing the wheels first and getting the right hubs (disc ready, 20mm if you want Maxle etc..)

If anyone challenges above advice, discount it all immediately. I’m just a noob really tbh… 😛

Regarding the banks, they haven’t increased inter-bank lending which is what they all agree is causing a lot of the problems, so Brown should just say **** you, we’ll have our money back then, and whatch them fail. But he hasn’t got the Cohones.

From what I vaguely remember, on the blue run there’s a pretty steep hill at the end, and on the red run there’s a very steep, rocky hill about halfway through. Even with gears I messed up and had to push 🙄

Just about to go o2 in my houshold – fed up of Orange’s crap (not the mtb manufacturer mind you, love my Orange 5)

We are currently paying £17.50 p/m for 2mbps, but can get o2 20mbps in our area for £15, or £10 cos my mum has an o2 mobile.

Worth checking their website to see if you can get ADSL2+ in your area. Thier customer service always seems to rank very highly too!

Went up on Dartmoor yesterday to test my new Orange 5 with my uncle who’s a bit of a bike nut – damn freeeezing! Couldn’t feel when I had my brake levers held down or not my hands had got so numb.

Only fell off once – when I turned whilst in a huge rut of frozen mud – didn’t feel anything till I got home, but it was just a graze really.

Only ever really used the classifieds of Singletrack, but the hacking has made me feel a little fond of this community 😥 so I might well be posting more in forums in the future 😮

I was devastated when I came on to check the days bargains to find nothing! How am I supposed to afford all those completely necessary upgrades now?!
