Yep, very good service, my Equinox fell off the kitchen worktop onto a stone floor and stopped working, well out of warranty, sent back and repaired FOC.

Nice collection, according to my ex-RAF work colleagues the reason God made the world round was so that the Jaguar could take off…….😁

Leatt 3df 6.0 for myself and Mrs M.  It is the first knee pad I’ve ever had that doesn’t rub my skin off (dianese, endura, POC have all worn my skin away leaving wounds that take ages to heal).  The leatt pads are all day comfy and have been tested on Dartmoor granite.

Equinox on the helmet and a Hope R8 and Liberator on the bars (it helps dry out the trail in front of me…….😁)

I will say, having just got back from the P&H in Litlington that the flooded roads seem to have pretty much halved their usual Friday evening business and Alfriston is pretty dead apart from lots of 4×4 response and EA vehicles so there is some indirect effect on people here.  That and all the low lying homes in Alfriston.

Bit of an update, got the Lake cleat position rubber blocks fit to my Lake 303’s to try on my Burgtec flats.

It worked, sort of, I found my feet would migrate across the pedal and eventually stop with about 1/3 of the width of my foot hanging off the outer edge of the pedal.  So it was rideable but not exactly confidence inspiring.  I think if the flat pedal had more pins especially on the centre spindle they may work better however I think I’m going to resort to some new TIME Speciale 8’s and go with cleats again.

I’m not sure the locals in Alfriston and Litlington see it that way.

South Downs near me, courtesy if you believe the local news, of the EA cutting back and not dredging the river mouth.

The vigilantes screwed up; badly.  I hope they get prosecuted and sued.  It’s not the sort of thing you can get wrong.

Mrs M has the Levo Expoert 2019 with the 700wH battery.  Shop around and you can get a good price on them.  Compared to her old Cube HPC E Stereo its like night and day, where the Bosch motor turns into a brick at 16 mph the Levo just feels like a heavier than normal mountain bike with no motor drag.

Just had two F-16’s at telephone numbers at approx 300ft come over (put it this way, they wouldn’t have cleared the South Downs on the other side of my back garden view).  Heading east in an awful hurry.

British Gas used Ride of the Valkyries to promote their repair service.  This maybe appropriate for Huey’s blowing up a Vietnamese Village in a film but not the gas repair man paying you a visit.

Space saver as a minimum, I know of two people who’ve had to wait for recovery after the foamy rubbish didn’t seal the gaping hole in their tyre.

You know it’ll happen and it’ll be on a wet, dark, Christmas Eve

Unfortunately to really stop fracking in this country it’ll need a tremor involving deaths, massive infrastructure damage or a water table pollution/corruption.  “A bunch of left wing greenies” holding placards and blocking roads is just an annoyance to the powers that be.

I have some Dirtlej Trailscout waterproof shorts and if you are looking at these then I’d definitely size up as I’m a trim-ish 32 and the Mediums I bought mean I shan’t be putting any more weight on.

My DT Swiss F535 have a two stage remote lockout.  First stage is partial lockout and second is full lockout with minimal movement.

I’ve just bought the heavy duty Maxx dryer off Amazon, what a god send it’s been, it would dry out 2 pairs of 5:10’s in a overnight after getting them totally soaked on Dartmoor.  It’s a fan with a 40w warmer and four spouts you can stick boots or gloves on.

GF drinker here, haven’t found a really good lager yet, San Miguel GF is the best I’ve found but it’s still a bit chemically.  Duara is a bit grim and hangover inducing and Nastro GF is very fake, cannot bring myself to try GF Stella.

GF bitters and ales are sorted by Westerham brewery, they even do a GF double stout.

Mrs M drinks spritzers and again like me tries to avoid the chemically flavoured stuff so usually swephes or preferably Fever tree light tonic.

Lake 303’s here, just about worn out after many winters abuse and falling to pieces so just taken delivery of some new 304’s.

I’ve also just bought a shoe and glove drier from amazon that really helps shorten drying times for 5:10’s and the Lakes.

2.6 Rekon + on the front and Minion SS rear here though it’s definitely more on the slides side😁
