Motor could be shielded but that adds weight, the drive for the motor (prob ac motor fed by a DC inverter drive) will be very rf noisey so theoretically a sensor would work in the road but far easier just to randomly impound bikes at start or end of race or if they mysteriously swap for a mechanical.

Boggy ride on the Downs with a mate and the Shouty Dog (said shouty dog humiliated us both up a climb by carrying his lump of flint and beating us). It was also very warm so I had a little lay down in a large puddle to cool off (nothing to do with not concentrating).

One wild and crazy summer (I think, the bloke from police academy with the scratchy voice and some cute and fluffy bunny cartoons…..the radio shack at the end of the film gets taken out by an RPG and the police academy bloke runs towards it screaming about cooking marshmallows)

It’s illegal to jam or interfere with radio signals. Doesn’t stop the big mobile operators from crapping all over our network because theirs is newer than ours.

Pub, drink, lots, then take bets on what stranger the depot social hand grenade will pick a fight with. Well that was last year so I’ll be avoiding it this time.

It’s not really a rant, more of a journey into despair and hopelessness that’ll give me nightmares for years to come!

I’ve a corporate grid finder app(lone worker) , came in very handy when we found a kid with concussion in Friston. Also the St. John’s app helped to remind me to check things I’d missed in the heat of the moment.

The USAF tried to retire the a-10 but congress blocked it, much to the armies relief as it’s by far the best CAS aircraft.

Short, very wet, hail infested, mud fest of a ride yesterday, slightly longer wind driven mud fest ride today, stopped pedalling on top of the downs and maintained 23 mph! My ears hurt.

I went round to a mates place to pick up a car engine and his gobby little sister stood there heckling us whilst we struggled to load it in the car. She’s now my wife of 23 years, I’m a glutton for punishment!

    No,

based on our track record of not sorting things out after we’ve done the “easy” bit.

Also TOO many planes with missiles and bombs occupying the same airspace, we don’t need to add anymore.

Cost wise RAW is about the same for normal food, we actually save a bit as Chewie was on v expensive hypoallergenic stuff as he’s allergic to food storage mite(vac packs/freezing etc, royal pain).

You will need freezer space, we’ve got a small chest freezer in the shed as dog food freezer. We get stuff from local butcher, ground up leftovers I think, as well as natures path stuff. Keep the mix varied and don’t forget vegetable bits as well. We also use a wholesaler type place near Gatwick which is working out slightly cheaper.

Also prepare/start defrosting tomorrow’s meal after you’ve dished out today’s meal.

You also become an expert on No.2 analysis………(usually its they need a bit more vegetable matter)

Watching Ahsoka demolish a chicken carcass was stomach churning but she loved it. Chewie when first introduced to raw picked the chicken wings out of the bowl spat them on the floor and gave Mrs M a proper Peter Kay look of “What do you call this rubbish? Where’s me biscuits. I’m not eating this…..ITS NOT COOKED!”

That’s an @rse Essel. Perils of the job market etc. Good luck with the next one. My lot have just instigated a recruitment freeze, even safety critical posts seem to be being affected (though allegedly they are exempt).

Syria is Russians backyard, short supply line, and scarily the Russian press is talking up use of nukes (before all this Syrian stuff).

Anyway I’m off to bed, I think it’s best we agree to disagree as neither of us has so far convinced the other of our arguments.

The Russians didn’t loose to a technically superior enemy 70 years ago. For all their much vaunted technical ability how well did the Yanks do in Vietnam?

The Russians could fight the Yanks to a standstill, a very hot, glassy standstill, we’d see the spine of NATO truly tested and I hate to say I think it would be found wanting.

A war I’d only want to see in simulation, hopefully calmer minds than the STW collective will prevail in the real world.

True but nuclear tipped torpedoes only have to get a few km away. Google base surge. Also the Russians have some bloody good anti ship missiles.
