Returning to biking after a few years off and my KTM 950 SMR is a hoot to ride even on a commute.

Have been doing some more reading, R-73 missile is very good and the four F-16s were loaded for mud (making them less manoeuvrable) when they got bounced by two Mig 21’s.  F-16s dropped ordnance but not before one was downed and then AAA got one of the Migs, his wingman came back trying to locate him when the remaining F-16s regrouped so had to leave in a hurry.

many years ago a pint of milk fell over in my van and emptied itself all over the passenger footwell carpet.  I poured pints of soapy water in and out of the van in an attempt to flush the milk out.  I thought I had succeeded as no pong at all (was dipping below freezing at night and cold during the day).

Then came the 4 day Easter weekend, it was a scorcher, with the van sitting in the sun all buttoned up.

Tuesday morning I opened the door sat in the seat and almost didn’t get out, my god the smell…….  Another morning of flushing with buckets of warm water got the smell to acceptable levels, till the next morning and repeat for a week.

PAF F-16 shot down by the IAF MIG-21 which was then shot down. PA had to rescue the IAF pilot from civilians who were thrashing him by dispersing the crowd by firing in the air.  This is going to get very messy, especially if China step in……

MIG 21 has some very good ECM apparently, maybe the reason it got down to a dog fight.

Mine go to Helmet Valhalla if they’ve died in an accident(which is usually the case).  On the bonfire and toasted with a beer.

All depends on if they start lobbing “buckets of sunshine” at each other.

Mrs M comes out with me, rides an e-bike (medical issues) and is fearless on occasion, watching her smash down the nutcracker on Dartmoor and the look on my mates as they had minced down or fallen off was hilarious.

She also acts as a pace setter on the Friston fireroad clinb so I never get a chance to rest.

My Noble have the  adjustable preload but TBH I haven’t touched it

I’ve been running Nobl hubs for 18 months now, I love the instant pick up, it’s a soft engagement but somehow instant.   They free wheel silently and roll reallly well.  Much better than the rovals they replaced.  There is a newer lighter version in development that has been in testing for many months.  No idea about slop resistance as they are on my full suss summer bike.

My tickets have expired but I always felt happier climbing with a harness and fall arrest gear (apart from rail-loks, they were rubbish) than working up a ladder.  Even on some of our wobbly Titan masts dodging angry seagulls.

Oh and the other bane used to be monopoles with removable pegs but that was always the keen youngsters job to fit and remove…
