Burgtecs Mk4’s have slight play after 5/6 months, Brendogs lasted about 12 months before developing play.

    I like that.

Had a great ride today, stayed local but had some cracking “good form” across the top of the Downs.😁

I’ve got a Exposure Blaze with reackt, use it on the bike and on my motorbike (clipped to rucksack). it’s working fine after two winters of commuting in all weathers.

GF beer from Westerham Brewery which has turned up and being consumed far too quickly.

Currently waiting on paint tester pots for the conservatory which I’m decorating to stop me being annoying whilst Mrs M is WFH.  Don’t think they’re turning up any time soon so it’ll be Nordic Blue.

Brake pads front and rear for my KTM, so I can carry on commuting to work by motorbike and minimising sitting on trains.

No idea if this is fake but as an ex Telecoms tech this makes interesting reading and I have to say that I really doubt any figures the Chinese produce, be it weapons performance, economy statistics or Covid 19 death rates.  I think the WHO won’t reveal the true rates for fear of upsetting the Chinese State, that’s if they’ve been told.

Wait till the epidemic sorts itself out.  I have a horrible feeling that there will be a glut of suddenly vacant possession places up for sale as well as a lot of holiday homes as people are suddenly unemployed.

    Ha ha ha, very good.

My 76 old Father and wicked step-mother made it home last night from Egypt (phew).  I think they shut the airport after they left.

Devils Dyke NT posted an advisory to say chose another destination as todays record number of visitors made social distancing difficult.

I can see lock down coming, not helped by the key worker letter i’ve just received (sorry probably 2 + 2 making 5 here)

Yep physio, I had ulnaritus which at the time scared the crap out of me, twinging arm pains spreading up the arm, couldn’t even put a key in a door lock it got so bad.  Doc prescribed anti inflammatory gel which helped but physio worked.  Text me for the physio I used details.

Friston was heaving with walkers and riders and a  few groups of families ☹️ Seemingly not understanding social distancing.

Mrs Valins, she detested kids, she was horrible, why she was a teacher I’ll never know.

Mr Day, he was a supply teacher, he never bothered with the curriculum and taught whatever he felt like, consequently he was a favourite teacher.  He was also an ex officer and everybody behaved and he never had to raise his voice.  Merely “the look” would silence the class.

Mrs M is a special needs key worker for children so mainly WFH at present with skype meetings etc and some home visits to parents if they are healthy and happy to have visitors.

The railway (my work) is thinning out its service as demand drops/driver shortages and engineering work is beginning to suffer with staff shortages but as I control the power supplies I have to be there.  Our site is on lockdown with no unnecessary visitors and we are contingency planning shift patterns for staff sickness and isolation etc </span>

I think the clues in the thread title “conspiracy theory”. I’m not coming on here for the gospel truth, just getting involved with all the doom mongering and worst case scenarios .  There is far too much misinformation and half truth out there, even from established news outlets.

If it’s causing angst step away from the internet and go outside an enjoy a bike ride.😁

Michelin do their excellent Wild Mud tyre in an XC form with less protection than the “enduro” version.  I’ve run the enduro version here on the South Downs for 2/3 years now and really like it

Managed to convince my Father to come back a week early from Egypt, he’s got a flight out on Saturday. The nice Egyptian state appear to be jailing people for questioning the official outbreak numbers or suggesting what the true infection rates are.

So I popped into the local supermarket today and got nasty wake up call.  No bog roll at all, only a few rolls of kitchen roll left.  Pasta and Rice decimated and the freezer aisles were looking 1/4 full. No paracetamol and only a few ibuprofen.   FFS it’s not the end if the world.

What is wrong with people? I got really angry watching old people wandering up and down the aisles looking for things that were gone.  These people cannot either carry and/or afford to stock up.🤬

Spoke to the vet yesterday and he said they aren’t letting people stock up on animal meds to stop shortages occurring.

    RaNT over.
