Yes I have looked at the Joint borrowers, sole proprietor thing but it looks like I wouldn’t be able to live in the house with her

It’s a timber frame house , rendered on the exterior. The cavity has been filled with insulation externally , by touching various areas of the wall, youn can feel
The affected area is much much colder than the any other part of any of the other walls. I assumed that by moving the air around in the room, this will stop the mound forming, – window is left open all day in the daytime . And the damp only forms in the winter .

The dehumidifier is only a temporary fix .

I’m after one of those small vent systems you get as standard in new builds ..

Maybe they don’t exsist for single rooms .

And I’ve checked the outside , there are n
    Holes etc..

And there is nothing in the corner of the room .. it’s an odd one, but I’m pretty sure they just haven’t put insulation in.

They work, basically same the way as conventional condensing boilers work, so you would have a hot water cylinder that is heated via the boiler..

So in the winter the boiler is heating hot water and central heating and in the summer it’s just heating the hot water.
Most people that have log boilers would just use an immersion in the summer to avoid the hassle of loading the boiler up!

Pellet boilers , log boilers log/pellet boilers, are all eligible for the commercial and domestic RHI, as long as the boiler is on the compliance register.

Silverbirchdan, sounds like the company that installed your system hasn’t got a clue what it’s on about…
Why can’t you have cavity wall insulation? If it’s because you don’t have cavities then your property should be exempt to that rule…

Little confused there by the way.

Oh and I work for a company that has installed 200 of the darn things! There are a lot of companies out there seriously cocking things up!

my BMW 116 ‘efficient dynamics” which is supposed to get an average of 73MPG has only ever got a maximum of 55mpg, and thats even by driving on dual carriageways at 59MPH non stop for 400 miles!!!

I even went on a driving course to learn to drive more efficiently as i thought it was me, but nope… just standard BMW rubbish!

i work for a PV company as a salesman/surveyor (an honest one)((yes they do exist))

i have recently been visiting customers that we installed PV for a year or so ago and they are ALL getting more money from the feed in tariff than we predicted, we are however based in Cornwall.. so get a fair bit more sunlight than Sheffield (which is where the SAPS calculation is based from)

panels have recently gone up due to i new chinese export tax, but we can still get ours day to a 6 year payback time (which in reality will be lower) they are still fair cheaper than they were a year ago but the tariff is lower!

Still worth the money in my opinion, much better than having 7-9k sat in the bank in my opinion! after you’ve paid the system off, the calculations show that you will make between £20-26k from the FIT!

it was a council owned public car park, and the chained off area, isnt normally chained off!

neither i, nor anyone else in the car saw the chain and the round sign attached to it, until it was up over the bonnet!

Coyote, i work for a renewable energy company and regularly visit people who think there bills are too high!

£140 a month for a combined bill is a fair amount for on grid gas!

the average house i visit similar to yours and on grid gas, has a bill of around £110.

get yourself a heat pump, or air to water system… or even PV :p,
