I’m assuming you mean for riding? If so then I use Sennheiser PMX 80 sport II. Had my pair for a couple of years now and they’re fantastic. Good quality sound, tough, waterproof and they have never bocome uncoupled from my lugholes no matter what terrain or environment.

Thanks guys. I’m going to give Epping a go but I get lost easily in the trees! Are there marked trails at all? I’m going to try and tag along to the Wednesday night ride with the MBRO35 bunch that Andy mentioned.

You caked your bike in mud on Saturday and still haven’t washed it by Wednesday night?

As three fish says, water is best for mud. Solvents on mud doesn’t make sense.

Thanks avdave2. Would it be rude to ask what sort of plum pummelling pricetag I should be expecting for the private option?

Cracking bit of timing as I’m just about to make the first steps to this myself. How does one proceed? Do you need to start things rolling with a visit to the GP and a chat or is there a more direct route?

Thanks for all the advice! I shall stick to my Stumpy and spend some dollar on suitable bike clothing for the wind/rain/cold of next summer instead!

Just been checking out Treks. Ended up staring down a Remedy 9.9! More than I need and could justify spending though! I think my budget would be around 3k.
I’m still learning about bike anatomy and terminology but my Stumpy has a Talas fork. What’s this QR15 or 9mm DT thru-bolt business. I’m assuming it’s about whether the wheels axles threads through holes in the fork or drops into open-ended whats-names? Through being the better option? For rigidity?
Yeah, the handlebars are 660mm. Would wider bars really make much difference then? I’m quite keen on making sure my bars are definitely tough enough for whatever they may need to be rather than super-light and only just burly enough!

No limit. You can have one every day if you’re weird enough!

I should have mentioned that if the alleged test was carried out but not at the testing station you were talking to then when they tried to print a duplicate certificate the VTS device would display a message saying that the vehicle had not been tested within the last 18 months. It is possible to issue a duplicate certificate at a testing station other than that at which the original was carried out but they would need the V5 document reference number. The best option before you take any other action would be to visit the VOSA website and check the MOT history for the vehicle. Again, you will need the V5 for the document reference number.

You will no doubt have no leverage with your threat of talking to VOSA due to no MOT having been carried out. If you wanted complain about the test result or a problem to do with a test result then yes, go to VOSA. No test having been carried out when you requested and paid for one would be a reason to talk to trading standards or mention the name of your legal representation if they refuse a refund! I am an MOT tester by the way.

I run a Propex heater in my van. It runs off propane as the name suggests with the blown air fan running off of the 12v. MUCH quieter than a diesel heater and room sealed flue so no CO worries, plus it’s far more economical to run a heater off gas than diesel. But, if you haven’t insulated the van there seems little point in getting a heater. Also, if you are running any heater for any length of time that draws electrical power then you will need to fit a leisure battery so you can get your van started and back out of the woods when you’ve finished your post ride faffing about.

Wow! I use Ay-Up lights and have been very impressed by the output and burn time. The output increase you seem to have achieved is cracking. I’m looking forward to instructions.

Hello all by the way! I’m new to the forum and this is my first post.
