I got 16mpg on a 200 mile run the best I’ve got is about 35mpg.. You would think its a V8 or some other powerful engine, but its a 1.6 8v Astra :|

Is it because you are taking out one of those sprockets and the smaller one that will still be used has the spacer built in?

BTW I know I’m useless at explaining this.

I scratched my lowers quite a lot, including taking chunks out of them. I bought some white nail varnish and it matches really well! I have no idea of the brand, I just asked for a glossy white nail varnish.

I use the GoPro mainly for biking holidays now. I find local trails are pretty boring and all the decent footage seems to be in the Alps. People seem to crash more in the Alps too, it’s always good for that.

I don’t really care if people don’t watch it, but a bonus if they do then bonus! Still gives me a rush watching old footage of some awesome trails, I’m pretty sure I’m not that fast, but watching the footage it feels fast to me.

I also use it for track days, so I can watch back and see what I did wrong where.

As above, the editing takes a lot of time, but good editing makes a decent video. You do have to like editing though.

Just incase you want to slate my footage, its here.

…unpressurised hold and how it affects the various hydraulic bits and stuff under pressure eg. Tyres, brakes, reverb.

Considering aircraf tyres can be >120psi and they don’t let them down when they take off, your tyres will be fine. Your brakes should be fine, if they do leak then you already had a problem with them and would’ve noticed on a previous ride. I don’t know of anyone that has let pressure out of forks for flights except for to get the things in the bag/box.

Pack the bag well, I used my pads and some clothes to protect some areas, seat stays, forks, etc.

    EVOC for the win.

It doesn’t take much for us to be confused.. But then the OP ignoring certain questions doesn’t help either..

32°C at the moment and the machines below me are about to start, one of which has a 10Kw heater! No doubt it will nearly touch 40°C and the computers will fall over, this is the temperature with the air con on full blast. No windows, no fresh air, just a pure sweatbox.

Going on the “make the most of the animal” sort of theme. For similar reasons I’ve started eating Veal as they are usually just discarded waste from Dairy farming.

I wonder how many meat eaters would actually kill the animals they eat.

Make sure you take the parts out asap and dry them off. If you leave them in for a while after they can get rust build up from the salt in the dishwasher. Go careful with polished aluminium, mine came out tarnished.

Why would you want to put rotors in a dishwasher? You would them need to use some IPA to get rid of any contaminants after.

I was actually looking at towing laws earlier this week:

Licenses obtained on or after January 19th 2013
Drivers who pass their Car (Category B) test on or after 19th January 2013 have futher restrictions to their license surrounding towing. Individuals that pass their test on, or after this date are restricted to towing small trailers weighing no more than 750kg. And are only able to tow trailers weighing more than 750kg when the combined weight of the towing vehicle and the trailer is not more than a total mass of 3.5 tonnes.

Car licences obtained on or after 1st January 1997
Drivers who passed their car (Category B) test on or after 1st January 1997 are restricted to drive a vehicle upto 3.5 tonnes Maximum allowed mass (MAM) towing a trailer of upto 750 kgs MAM. With a combined weight of no more than 4.25 tonnes in total. You are also able to tow a trailer over 750 kg MAM as long as it is no more than the unladen weight of the towing vehicle. This is upto a maximum combined weight of 3.5 tonnes in total.

Car licences obtained before 1st January 1997
All drivers who passed a car (Category B) test before 1st January 1997 retain their existing entitlement to tow trailers until their licence expires. This means they are generally entitled to drive a vehicle and trailer combination up to 7.25 tonnes maximum authorised mass (MAM). They also have entitlement to drive a minibus with a trailer over 750 kgs maximum authorised mass ( MAM).

Copy n Pasted from Bubble Towing..

By the sounds of it they should be able to compete with Hope on certain things! When I say compete I mean actually make the stuff they say they are going to make.

Good luck to them, and I will definately be looking at their range when I need some more shiny bits!

I had a ReadyNAS duo that used 35W. I now have a HP MicroServer (the same one MSP has linked) which uses about 50W and does a whole lot more: uTorrent, Webserver, DLNA, LMS Synced Music (poor mans Sonos), iTunes, File Server, etc

For the price and the extra £10 a year electricity the Microserver is worth it.

Tell him to get a part time job and whatever he earns you will give him the same.

Friends who had it handed on a plate didn’t go to lectures, got stoned and pissed and barely made it through Uni. Friends who did work had a great time and did well!

I had the same happen to me… Admittedly I was in a car and somehow didn’t hit me, but apart from that it was exactly the same. I swear some people drive with their eyes closed.

Sonos is the way forward. If you can’t afford Sonos, you could get yourself a MicroServer, install LMS (Logitech Media Server), get some Raspberry Pi’s, install PiCorePlayer and you have a cheap mans Sonos! Sync is as good as Sonos.

As above if your are sure the smoke is getting in through your house and not through open windows then there is a problem with your property not being properly sealed.

You hear of stories of people living next to a cannabis farm and not knowing about it, therefore there must be a problem with ventilation between yours and the smokers properties.

If they smoke enough of it, you should become immune to the smell.

So do you have to have a Google+ account to use Youtube?

Yes. You need a Google+ account to have a Youtube account.

Surely if you are getting rid of Google you would get rid of Youtube as it is owned by Google?

I’m guessing you don’t know anyone who does MMA? If you do ask them, they should know the good from the bad. Most places welcome new people, if they don’t then they ain’t the place for you and a lot have a beginners night too.

Here’s a little video a friend recorded from a training session, although this day they were practicing stand up/kick boxing, gives you a taster of what to expect.

PS The guy in blue who is the tutor is/was the national kickboxing champion.

My friends fitness on his mountain bike increased a lot through MMA. I just wish I could try it but I have a lot of broken bones & metal in my face already.

This is the one I have:

It works very well, can get extremely hot and can handle quite a lot of meat at once. I cook for 6 people on it without a problem.

EDIT: I notice they now do a slightly smaller lower profile one, which may suit you better.

    Holy Thread Revival!!!! 8O

    Review – A year on..
I’ve had the Eclipse Inner Tubes 26×2.25 in my Hans Dampf 2.35 tyres for over a year now running low pressures 20-25psi. They have been fine with everything I have thrown at them, including 2 trips to the Alps (uplifts, LaThuile, Pila, etc) I’m not a mincer but I’m not a riding God either. I usually get snake bites and a couple of punctures throughout the year. When in the Alps I was the only person out of 13 to not get any punctures which is pretty good and only had 1 puncture since fitting these tubes.

So I wanted to order some more of these tubes as they have been pretty awesome and find they are discontinued… Does anyone know why? Or had any other experiences with these tubes?

I quite fancy a Go Pro. Hooked up to an iPhone…

Why not just use your iPhone as a camera? I think a £50 point and shoot camera would take better photos than a GoPro.

Time to post a GoPro Photo!

This looks like a decent guide meaning loads of pictures!

Did you even try googling for a gearbox replacement guide?

If you have tools and a spare couple of hours, give it a go!
