I’m pretty sure it said in the manual what they are for..

Anyways: They are goggle strap retainers that fit under the screws for the peak.

Nah it doesn’t!

It’s all about riding nude with a laser strapped to your cock. When riding past Ramblers you must do fake laser noises. Pew Pew!!!

If you can’t grasp turning your hips in tight switchbacks (Alpine Switchback), put your outside foot forward which will help rotate your hips into the corner.

Depends what the person does naturally and what level they are at.

Look ahead, not what you are going over. If you look at a tree, you will probably hit the tree.
Look around the corner, not straight ahead, turn that head, i wanna see your chin on your shoulder in those tight berms.
Lean on the inside handlebar.
Try and relax.

There are loads more, but I find any more than 2-3 things and it won’t stick with them.

The Netgear switches are good, but I don’t rate the modem/routers. For a business I would check out DrayTek Routers/modems.

It should be a case of plug and pray.

I keep meaning to try it at Ashton Court, as they have a 13 basket course. I’m guessing you can just turn up with your own Frisbee, might have to try it on a sunny day after a ride.

I will be in Pila from the 29th August for a few days, staying at Hotel Chacaril right next to the Pila Chamole lift. If you see us, give us a shout.

The Couis Lift that takes you to the ridge run is closed from the 25th August. :|

La Thuile – Steep singletrack
Pila – Fast flowy bermy jumpy trails

I wouldn’t bother with Tignes, so much better riding around there. A guide would be a very good idea if you want some awesome Singletrack.

1. After using a cheap welder and then a half decent one, I wouldn’t bother with a cheap one!
2. Probably will need lessons, my friend taught me, I’m still shit in comparison, but I’ve probably only welded for a couple of hours in total as opposed to welding for a few hours a day for 20+ years.

As above, frame out of metal if you really want to, then wood as the ramp.

Definitely worth hitting Pila and La Thuile, we’re spending a few days in Pila, we wanted to try Finale Ligure but the thought of the long drive home is too much in a 40 year old car.

Obligitory video of Pila

Our 2 year old Springer had the Cruciate Ligament fixed at a cost of around £12k-16k, but this was done by an extremely good/well known veterinary surgeon, possibly one of the best. She is now 8 or 9 and has never had a problem since and she works most weekends and competes in working tests, scurries, etc.

If you can get it done, do it. All I can say is thank God for pet insurance!

Still waiting for the 2015 Fox 36 180/140 TALAS to come out.

If they ever come out, I’ll head to BPW and get the guys there to set them up.

Stainless Steel can rust, even food grade Stainless Steel like 440B can rust under the right/wrong conditions.

I’ve noticed a lot of products that say Titanium are actually Titanium Aluminium Nitride Coated so it keeps the edge for longer. There are better coatings to use, but they won’t because it will make it last 10x longer.

I’ve forgotten the name of it, but there is a coating you can buy from the states that is used by the US Navy to stop things rusting and it works very well. EDIT: Corrosion X

I’ve just got the Bell Super 2R and I am pretty impressed with it. Comfy, very airy and it’s two lids in one and so it should be for the price. The chin guard takes about 10 seconds to put on, very easy, very secure, really does change it into an airy full face helmet.

I can now scream ENDUROO when I cut corners, rather than shouting STRAVAA, that was so last year.

Saved us loads of time as we could only do a max of 70mph. Got a lot of funny looks from people when they overtook us for the 2nd-5th time.

I would’ve left it where it is for the whole weekend at least. Let her know that you can’t move it because someone put glue in the locks. Also inform her that the Police are going to come and dust for fingerprints.

Is your girlfriend the camera person or the one being followed?

I’ll guess and say his girlfriend isn’t the one with hairy legs therefore she is the one with filming.

I would love the try Fox…
But the question no one can answer.. “When are Fox releasing the 2015 Fox 26 TALAS, 180/140?”. The answer I get is, we will, but we don’t know when. My Lyriks are shit.

I had the Parabellum delivered last week, too big, and they don’t do a small.
I had a small Super 2R Mips delivered today and it’s too small!

I could not find any offers on the helmets I wanted, but CRC have some offers on.

I’m not sure it was referred to as a crap car, but it definitely had a “Hairdresser’s car” reputation.

When infact, it was pretty damn quick and handled very well and had hardly any problems apart from some rust on the rear arches. I run one as a track day car and its surprising what it keeps up with.

…But the older ones (<70’s/ early 80’s) are easier to diagnose and generally quicker to fix as there is not that much to them!

These days most older/classic cars are reliable, as most people have changed a lot of things, for modern tech like electronic iginition, etc and keep them in tip top condition.

I really don’t class a 10-15 year old car as old. 8O

MonkeyFriend – Probably is the reason, but it can be different for different breeds. I would not play with her while you kit up and ignore her for the last 15 minutes before you leave. It knows you’re leaving and wants your attention.

Separation Anxiety, Google it for your breed of dog to find out more. Usually, as wwaswas says “you’ve put that dog on a pedestal.”, giving it too much affection at the wrong time. eg. You’ve just arrived home and give the dog affection when its hyper or you’re just about to leave and give it affection just as you leave.

Clifton Observatory/Camera Obscura, located on the Clifton Downs will give you a unique view of the area. There is a cave that leads to the cliff face giving you a view of the bridge & gorge.

But, I have never been so I cannot say what it is like for sure. One of those things that you intend to visit, but never actually do.

Get someone else to do a bit of the driving so the main driver can have a little sleep, just stop for fuel and drinks. You’ll be there quicker and have more time to relax before your 24h of madness!

Works for us driving from Bristol, Chunnel around 1-4am, arrive late afternoon. As for the route, I have no idea, but we get there without a map or TomTom.

I like watching chest mount POV, you can really see the person working the bike, this also helps me learn, as I need to see it, to do it. I absolutely hate helmet footage, feels disconnected from the trail, you see the trail being all squiggly and the helmet plows through the middle and you miss what the rider is doing with the bike. I have been meaning to film from the helmet facing rear like Jedi has said, but waiting on a new helmet.

It also has to be edited well.

Can’t wait to get my hands on the Hexo+ for some off bike footage.

0.1mm clearance would be what I would go for, but your tolerance on the laser cutter may be +/- 0.1mm. I would probably get it cut at 29.9/30mm then grind or EDM wire erosion to the size you need.

Whatever it is, I would probably design it so the nut is a standard size, then you can use a standard wrench or torque wrench.

I’ve tried a few things and the best I have come up with is one of these:

Gets most of the dust off, then play it and the rest of the dust will be on the stylus. The next time you play it, it will be purfik.

I wouldn’t use a machine, as I couldn’t bear the thought of cleaning 800+ records. 8O

Oh vacuum cleaner and the brush head works quite well, but watch out for the static build up!
