..a test that’s modeled after the one used for DH certification.

That’s good enough for me.

I’m also concerned that the chinbar on the Bell is a bit flexy.

Read the article and watch the video.

A lot of talk about Kodi and Sky, I find the quality is extremely poor for any Live TV through Kodi add ons.

None of these rotors are floating rotors, or even semi floating. I dropped one in the sink, it sank, it did not float.

Friend has a Minix Box from Droidsticks. It is basically a powerful small PC, running Kodi/XBMC with a shit load of add ons that enable you to watch anything through the Interwebz. Sports, Movies, TV series, it has got it all. Quality of Live TV is pretty poor, HD quality is on par with SD TV aerial signal, but movies and TV series can be very good quality.

There are lots of versions about, it is not limited to Minix, you can run it on a Pi, but it will run slowly, I run it on an ATV and the menu’s are a little slow, but the playback is not affected. You can even run this on an iPhone or any android tablet or windows PC.

I have the same Topeak gauge and thought that it read quite low. I also have a Sealey gauge for the car and tried that and it was the same pressure. I then tried my Topeak track pump and the pressure was 5psi greater than the gauges, then I tried my 9.99 pump and it was 15psi greater than the gauges.

As someone else says it really doesn’t matter what number it reads, as long as it is consistent and it is.

I’m hoping everyone else is booking different ports/terminals and Calais will be a breeze on the 22nd August.. I’m imagining coming home around the 4th September will be absolute manic with all the families driving like maniacs to the terminals. :?

If it is better at night it might be electrical noise from the mains. I replaced our 4 way power strip with one of these:

    http://www.richersounds.com/product/mains-power-accessories/tacima-/cs929/taci-cs929-6way-main

The one thing I did notice was the Freeview picture quality had improved, it was still rubbish, but had improved. Friends who didn’t know I installed this thought I had moved our aerial as it looked better..

Cue all the people in tin foil hats saying this product does not work, even though they haven’t tried it. To be honest I was one these, but for the price of a 6 way I thought why not try it and I was quite surprised.

When we drove a car that could only do 70mph max, the look on peoples faces when they had overtaken us for the 3rd/4th time was priceless. Tag for the win, saves a lot of time when you go through the barriers at 30kph, especially the closer you get to the Alps as it can get very busy.

If you fell off as much as me you would think about giving up.

Knee pads always when off-road. The couple of times I haven’t worn them I have crashed and been unable to ride for a month or so.

Elbow pads on Uplift days, Multi-days & Holidays.

Samsung, due to amount of settings for each source, hugely customisable settings to get it looking perfect for each source.

Yup really! I just had a look at the manual and you have to take the mixer apart and re-route a ribbon cable 8O . Basically you have to route the phono pre amp to the internal sound card, but I can’t find info on if you can still play vinyl through this mode.

If you are used to scratching on Vinyl, using a controller can take a lot of getting used to. I can scratch, but find it very difficult to pull off the same tricks on a CDJ or controller. The reason for this is a few things, slipmats/vinyl friction and the controllers/CDJ’s are not the same size. However scratching on Serato/TCV is a lot easier than CDJ’s & controllers, as I learnt to scratch with Vinyl and it feels pretty much the same.

I’ve used a few different controllers and I just don’t feel it. I think this is because I come from the daze of Vinyl, I just don’t get the same buzz with controllers, but it does mean you can add a few more elements, such as live remixing and 3-4 deck mixing which is a lot easier with digi stuff.

It has come a long way from a 2 channel mixer & two turntables and I think it’s great it has progressed the way it has.

ac505 if you can, try out some different systems there might be one you prefer.

An Intimidation mixer! I remember when they were the dogs danglies! DVS/Timecoded Vinyl is the way to go, recently bought all my old Hard House Vinyls on MP3, damn the sound quality is awesome, you don’t realise how worn out your vinyls get.

I would have a look at the software system first, you might not like Traktor, I prefer Serato, but then it was probably 10+ years since I tried Traktor. Or do these mixers take away the use of a laptop.

Remember the more buttons & knobs on the mixer, the awesome you & your setup is.

There is 695 page thread on Pinkbike all about the Capra’s.

I would take everything on there with a pinch of salt and they get very arsey with each other. When reading remember;, if you have a problem you will tell 9/10 people, if you haven’t got a problem you may tell 1/10 people about how great it is.

I have read many pointless pages and would say I would happily order a Carbon Capra.

The Evans Ride It events are quite good for finding some half decent routes, there is one this weekend just NE of Bristol.

    http://www.evanscycles.com/pages/rideit-cotswolds-mtb-ride-25th-july-2015

I know this can be ridden anytime as it uses Bridleways, but there are some nice bits in North Nibley.

It’s worth checking out the pump tracks around Bristol, there is one in near Fishponds behind B&Q.

    Read the manual.

Page 18 or 23 for info on Demo Mode

This might help for your iPod issue:

    You can search like this:

    Cat 7 cabling telephone -4k

Which will exclude any of the results with 4k, you can add as many of these as you want.

I think Cat7 is just more twisted than 6 and there are no differences with wiring them up. If you want Cat7 speeds then you will need a router/switch that is capable of supporting those speeds, but most appliances do not achieve anywhere near those speeds.

You’ll fine on those bikes, our first time was on 100mm hardtails (Kona Kula & Scott Scale 30). Some lovely trails around that area.

I like the Freeminers more than Verderers but do them both as 1 trail. The steep uphill bit is tough and why it goes back down for like 2 seconds before it goes even steeper seems quite pointless. Glad they are continuing to extend it, cannot wait until its 15 miles long! 8O

    Not enough woodwork though.

lol it’s not my driving style, I did think it might be at one point, but there are now 2 others that drive my car, one of which is a “under the speed limit at all times” and what I would class as a hesitator, all of which also had people pull out and say “oh I didn’t see you” it now has a dashcam installed.

It really has to do with the roads I drive on as it happens to others that drive the same roads. Bristol Subarbs road rules: Pull out of a junction and look what is coming as your bonnet hits the road you are joining, put foot down if there is someone there.

I remember speaking with a guy on Holiday who was adamant that a rotor could not warp and it was the hubs that warped.. He was an engineer so he was right. Cool story, I know. 8)

I haven’t had a Hope rotor warp, but other brands have.

I drive an invisible car aka POS, people always pull out on me from side roads or going around a round-a-bout, despite having my indicator on. I drive with the thought of, no one can see me. If one a bicycle or bike, then its a case of everyone is trying to kill me.

I used to be a fast driver, didn’t we all when we were young? I have calmed down over the years, mainly after getting banned when I was 21 and keep the fast driving on the race track.

Actually it’s those that drive at 40/45 everywhere that worry me most – through the national zone and then carry on exactly the same through the 30 zone. My mother is joining these ranks – I think it might be an age thing.

It is definitely an age thing, most of my ‘friends mothers’ drive through 30 zones at 40-50 and dual carriageways the same speed. Quite often I’ve had them glued to my rear bumper when going through a 30 zone at 30.

I have the Topeak one and use it with the bikes and cars, seems to give the same numbers as my Sealey tyre pressure gauge.

The SKS Airchecker Pressure Gauge is cheaper, but when adjusting the pressure by the bleed valve thingy, you then have to remove it and re-fit to get a new reading… Way too much faff, its soo much effort having to remove it and press it back on again to get a reading.
