Saying Samsung/ LG is shit is like saying Ford is shit.. There are some Ford models that aren’t shit. Quoting what model is shit or good would be a lot more helpful.

I personally think it is all down to what you think is good. I can make my picture look completely crap and someone will say that looks amazing, I’ll then change the settings to my liking and someone will say it looks worse.

Go have a look at the TV’s and choose which one you think is best.

With just 2 dogs our claims have come in at a total of approx £252,000 over their lifetimes, one is still going aged 9. An ISA wouldn’t have covered it, but they have been rather special cases. I’m sure I couldn’t have saved £252k in the their lifetimes.

No idea what the price is, I know its a lot. But I don’t care about the cost, we got 12 years out of a dog that would’ve been put down after being 2 years old due to costs. I think most people wouldn’t justify/afford £12k vet bills for a dog and would’ve had it put down.

But I do know the price never goes down!

PetPlan, whatever the most expensive is. We can hit the max cover amount in a year with 2 working dogs. I know some vets that will not accept insurance from certain insurance companies as they will not pay out and the vets are left without the money.

One dog aka Cloud, required major surgery on her knee and was done by the ‘top dog’ in veterinary surgery and cost over £12k, I think it was nearer £16k, Petplan paid out for that without hesitation. She maxes out the amount most years due to her Addison’s disease and we have never had a problem with Petplan.

Another dog had an even worse problem, I forget what it was, something about the glands destroying the red blood cells. It was my mother’s dog, so I don’t know the ins ‘n’ outs, but again that dog maxed the value every year for the 12 years she lived, not once did Petplan question the claims.

I would never choose anything else. Over the years we have made a lot of claims with dogs and cats.

I’m not sure it Petplan has changed, but with our vet it went like this..

    Do you have insurance?

No… Ok we can try this, if that doesnt work, we’ll try this, if that..

Yes… £3k limit… ok we can try this and this, if that doesn’t work we’ll try this.

Yes we have the top Pet Plan.. Ok! We’ll throw everything at it, do all the tests.

The end result it the animal can get diagnosed quicker and treated quicker. Obviously this is all down the complexity of the problem/diagnosis.

BTW: If you dog is more than a year or two old, or you lapse in your insurance, you will struggle to get insurance.

I also have to give you brownie points for getting the DNA screening, as its a cocker I insist you also get the hip dysplasia screening/x-ray done, as its becoming more common in Cockers.

    i used a 3D printer for a 32mm one

I’m going to measure up the seals for my Fox 36 and design one to print! But for £10 that Unior one is a bargain and will last a lot longer than a plastic one.

Just replacing your 2001 springs will make a difference as they would be old and tired. You will probably find the ride height will be slightly higher and probably a bit stiffer too.

Is it possible to get suspension which is supple (for comfort over rough roads and pot holes) but which doesn’t wallow or roll when cornering hard on B roads?

Yes… But not on a Yaris.

I did read an interesting article that Edge on a laptop got a lot more battery time than Chrome. I think it was nearly double, so Edge does help laptops get a longer battery run time…

I still won’t use it though and won’t trust the results until an independent test is done. That will never happen because no one would ever use Edge.

So its a tablet/laptop with software installed linked to a hotkey…

People buy into this shit? If people are that worried about tracking, I’m pretty sure they would know how link programs/macro to a hotkey.

Or am I missing something big here…

I think this still applies, I might be wrong. To get your free Windows 10, you must first upgrade your system to register it with Microsoft. You can then do a clean install via an ISO CD/USB.

There are many design constraints with FDM 3D Printers. This link might help you with that.

I love the fact that no one has asked you why you need armour for a teddy bear! Have a look on Thingiverse[/url], someone may have designed something that might do the job.

Cheers crotchrocket, got that big taken care off. Got hansdampf super g upfront and a razor rock super g on back, think that’ll be ok?

Rock Razor will be fine unless you do the super steep black runs where its really loose. I found the RR didn’t brake very well, swapped it for a HD on the back and Magic Mary up front, that was a lot better.

Loads of brake pads, big rotors, mech hanger and a few spare spokes.

Used mine in torrential rain the other day and was very surprised it worked perfectly fine with gloves on and rain splashing all over the screen. The buttons are plastic, so they won’t perish.

Uniroyal Rainsport 3’s here. Great grip levels in the dry and the wet, soft’ish sidewalls, so great on the road if you have no suspension. I could not tell you about noise level or how long they last as they are used on the track.

Can’t be user error, when it is kinked inside the frame and he has never removed it from the frame. He won’t ever buy BOS, Mavic or YT again and neither would I, shame as I wanted a YT, but their attitude and service has been poor.

It is a nice looking bike.. Looks are not everything, it actually has to work too!

I will chime in on this… House mate has a 2015 YT Capra and has had the following problems, in order of how it happened.

    2nd Ever Ride
Mavic Crossmax Enduro Cheese Wheels dented and buckled beyond repair, no warranty, bought LB Carbon wheels. This happend at BPW on first run on Terrys Belly, have no idea how it happened
Rear BOS Shock Lever stopped working, 6 weeks without a bike, it arrived back
    Next Ride
Front BOS Forks developed the Capra Crack, sent back to YT
Headset bearings rusty, no grease, would not replace
2 Months with no bike and multiple emails to YT
Offered Rockshox Lyriks and accepted, BOS were not returning emails to YT
for progress reports and it had been 2 months of “we don’t know when”.
2 Rides Later, less than 30 miles total
Rear BOS Shock Lever stopped working again, lever just spins
    Atlas Pedal bearings need replacing
BB bearing seized, no grease, it took 4kg on the pedal for it to move
Rockshox Reverb Stealth cable creased inside frame from poor fitting

He bought the bike in April or May, delivered in September, has only ridden it 6 times at the most, as it has spent most of the time in bits having bits sent back to YT.

He no longer emails YT as it takes too long for things to be sorted. His bike is currently at the LBS having a new BB & new pedal bearings fitted while the the Reverb is sent back to Fishers.

I would NEVER buy a YT, they didn’t care that everything fitted to the bike has had an issue and even accused him of riding it too hard (this was when he emailed about the Fork Crack Sound and the Mavic Wheels – both of which are known issues). Things have been sorted, but it has taken multiple emails and phone calls to get the ball rolling, which end up being weeks. When the ball does roll, it rolls very slow. If you don’t mind being without a bike for 1-2 months then it should be fine. People will say customer service has improved, it has, but it still takes ages for things to be sorted.

I have the Yamaha RX675, it’s a good Home Cinema amp, loads of settings for speakers, delays, crossovers, etc.

Easy to setup with 1 HDMI between TV and Amp via ARC, if your TV supports ARC.

I’m quite impressed with the amp, it does a lot, you can configure it to give a good sound for your speaker/room setup. The sound has quite a punch to it, movies sound great, music sounds good.

You can’t just delete the photos via explorer, but there are ways to do it.

    Open Explorer, Right Click iPhone
    Select Import Pictures & Videos
Check the Box “Always Erase from Device after Importing”

Import your photos and they will be erased from the iPhone after they have all been imported.

There is another way by disabling iCloud Photo Album, but I am not sure what else it may do.

DO NOT ride with your puppy until it is at least 1 year old, you will screw it up for life. Even if it is at a slow pace, don’t do it, you will only be pleasing yourself at the cost of your dogs/puppies health.

Go to training classes, get your citizen awards. Once you and the dog have been trained to communicate between each other you will find it pretty easy making the transition from walking/running to riding.

I’m not sure what age, but you can get your dogs hips checked which will show if it will have any issues later in life. There are more n more Cockers which do have these problems and a lot of people are trying to make it mandatory to have the test done before breeding and to only breed from a good one.

Right, I have a free car, its a POS gutless, smelly Ashtray about 12 years old, its probably not even worth £300, but I only put fuel in it, and on average do about 10,000 miles a year.

It was 4 years until I realised it had not been serviced and I only realised this when I worked out it did 10mpg on a run, so checked the oil to realise it had nothing! I have been using/abusing it for about 8 years, in that time the only things that needed doing were: backbox & new discs/pads. Last year I did have to replace the headlights as they failed the MOT. I gave it a service after 4 years and it made absolutely no difference.

Oh I did blow the headgasket and continued to drive it for 8 months before I could be bothered to fix it. I replaced the HG, I was a little suspicious of the HG as it didn’t seem right… 1 day later the whole cooling system had turned to mayo, I am not exaggerating, the whole cooling system was as thick as mayo, radiator, oil galleries/block, header tank, etc. I towed it to the farm and used a steam cleaner to clean/flush out the system. That was 2 years ago, I fixed it and haven’t touched it since. It is the cleanest engine bay on a shitty Ashtray ever!

I have no intentions of giving it a service and it will die before I service it again.

Believe it or not I am a car guy! No honest, I am a serious car guy, lets face it if you had a shitty Astra that is worthless, would you spend time on it, or would you spend time on more serious cars. One of my cars gets an oil change nearly every month and possibly gearbox oil and hydraulic fluids, depending on how hot everything got.

If I had a new car, under 5 years old, I’m sure as hell I would get it serviced annually or on mileage, whatever comes first. If it was a car I was going to keep until its worthless, then I would decide when it needs doing.

I would spend an extra £120 and get this one:

    http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/X555UJ-XO070T-ASUS-X555UJ-XO070T_1829327.html
It has a 2gb dedicated graphics card which comes in very handy with any video editing.

I would be looking for the following minimum specs:

    i5/i7 Processor
    8gb RAM
    1TB HD(7,200rpm) – Preferably 1x SSD & 1x big drive
Dedicated GFX Card (Not one that uses some of your RAM – & one that has CUDA Cores)
    15″ – 1080p Screen Resolution

It all depends on what you are editing, what program you are going to use and if you are going to add any effects or PiP.

I thought you could name them whatever you want, put them on the SD card, then in the settings select which map you want to use.

I believe you can use 2 maps at the same time, but one needs to be called gpsapp… (I am going from memory and can’t remember the name).

On roads in my shitty petrol car. Hell no, it’s lost all power by 5.5k

On my track car, I try not to, its had a lot of mods done recently and has caught me out a couple of times on the track.

This might be a myth, but it keeps the engine a little less coked up if you run it through the rev range occasionally, I’m not on about bouncing it off the limiter. :|
