    First attempt have failed.
Not enough clean wood to get a good bond.

Good idea Educator, had not thought of that style bridge bit quite sure it will fit the style though

Next step will be to make a new bridge/saddle whatever you call it, as the one I got with it is another bodged job.
(If the neck is staying on tomorrow)

Got a tailpiece that a friend had lying around, so just done a quick test with some old strings to see if things line up and about to stick the neck back on myself as no way i got the patience to wait until lock down is over and then wait for someone to have the time to do it for me.

    Wish me luck

some more tidying of the neck joint.
a bolt had been added but without making sure everything fitted as it should.
the round mark is from where a threaded insert had been added without making room for it, why the neck angle was way off.
Now to figure out how to get it back on.

Stupid prisson ship episode, how can you say that, it had X wings blowing stuff up.
Just closing ones eyes and simply listening is condensed sound of star wars, it’s amazing :)

he neck itself is fine, it had just been put on very badly.
so hopefully i can get it back in working order, just need to figure out how to find the right angle etc. but i will worry about that a little later fow now i want to get it sanded down and try and fix the failing gluejoints and a few small cracks where the tailpiece is attached.

Try look at the body upside down and tell me what you think it looks like.

Got the neck off, heat gun and lots of wiggling did the trick.
Now time to clean all the old glue out and see if it will fit back on in the right spot as it was totally misaligned before. the action at last fret was 10mm and neck wast not straight, the low E string was not even over the fret board.

So i bought this mystery guitar as it was very cheap.
Woman i bought it off had bought it as a decorative piece at some point and was told it was a German from the 50s.
Neck have been reglued (badly) at some point and there is some splits in the body where the metal bracket is screwed on and around the strap attachment. But should be fun trying to restore it.
This is the only markings on it.

I needed more than 16gb of ram to run at the highest graphic settings, but with 32gb I run it fine on my quite old graphics card.

In Denmark we have the classic scout camp dish Svensk pølseret, which is sausage slices (best if the bright red ones) in a onion cream and ketchup sauce with added boiled potatoes.

I have bought a guitar to learn during lockdown and agree with getting one you like as more likely to want to play it.
I went on guitarguitar and selected the style I wanted, filtered on price and worked my way up up until I found one I liked the look off :)

I used to hate the term onboarding as well, untill I realised it’s related to waterboarding and it suddenly made sense.
As listening to HR and health and safety etc. is a form of torture.

i like the idea of the multistory carparks as Cinema, the screen would only be slightly smaller than the average home flatscreen.

I went to see them over East Kirkby if I been at the airfield you could have seen 3 at a time as they were taxing Just Jane as they flew over
