Girl being put off archery was all about the bow her dad had got her from Decathlon with non matching arrows and had been shooting it at home until she got to the club.

I got my 6 year old niece an English longbow made for her size.

Whatever you get make sure it actually can shoot the arrows it comes with. Seen a young girl being put off archery for good because her dad had for her a bow that coulent actually shoot the arrows they used, so she never got close to hitting anything.

You basically have to stop riding the bike when he starts to bark.

Then start just being near the bike and reward for being calm then slowly build it from there, only riding it for a short time, seconds, reward for being calm then build up duration and repeat for a few years :)

I have similar problem with my arrow finding Lab, she gets so exited when doing archery, if people take to long to shoot she will bark and sometimes just drawing the bow will set her off.

When at the visitor centre at Sherwood forest she was barking at the Robin Hood statue as it is Robin with a drawn bow thats how much she loves bows and arrows lol

@Sandwich they dont break the arrows if thats what you are wondering.

They just indicate where they are, made sure they know not to pick them up as i dont want them chewing carbon fiber.

Kormoran, they are ok at finding broken arrows but cant talk about it ;)

Took my two to the archery club this morning.

4.5 month and 2 years, both trained to find lost arrows.

Being Scandinavian that was the idea :) took inspiration from some viking axe finds.

Just seen in Danish news the first pilots arrived Friday in Denmark and have started training now.

There is Ukrainian pilots in Denmark not sure if they have been there for a while or if just arrived to start training though.
