just had the Type 10 out for a spin, im in love from the sound of it alone

thats a Typpe-10 Defender fitted and ready in the hangar, better get some more mining done as i dont like having just 650mil.
going to try mine in this thing, go hit a belt and mine away while watching something on second monitor.

and yes, i also missed picking up the cargo on my first cargo mission, i transferred all but did not confirm it. only found out when i docked and the station to finish the mission. luckily was only 1 jump away lol

I sold the Type-9 again, never got round to fitting it out to tank as all the bits i needed was quite a long way away.
First the accident in docking mentioned earlier, then first mission i get interdicted as i i dropped the throttle by mistake, and was instantly dead even though i was sporting the biggest shield generator out there.
bought it back then decided to sell it after all, will get a Type 10 instead at some point at the moment i am using the Python which i had flown out for the short jump cargo mission around 180 tons a mission.
Have found a nice station right in a Planetary ice ring, fancy fitting the Type-10 and just go mine everything i find there as i find mining very chilling :)

Now this was fun.
Just bought a Type-9, launched it and noticed i had no jump range, so docked again, got stuck in the docking port somehow and got blown up.
Now jumping back to where i want to be then have the Type-9 moved over to where i can get a better FSD fitted.

Time go go and get that Federal Navy rank up so i can buy a Corvette.

and found a new tactic for the Mamba when fighting small ships, Ram them and watch them bounce back right in front of your guns :)

Good point, the internet have been a bit funny lately I was worried it was my graphics card dying slowly but could be lag spikes on the connection.

Just installed EDcompanion on my phone bow I can find my ships without docking at a station with a shipyard lol

after weeks or playing with no problems last couple of days game have suddenly become really stuttering and not smooth at all.
Anyone else have had this problem and any idea how to fix it?

The point of the Mamba is the look.
I will put some Roxette on loud next time I fight in mine :)
I have tried the Culture and I just can’t get that ship to play ball, but after some practice I take down most things fairly fast in the Mamba and when you get in trouble it’s easy to boost away.

The way I fly the Mamba is this.
Make sure I start of from distance, the he’d straight for them, changing all pips to weapons, slow down as I get in range and just track them with guns for as long as possible,then all pips to engine to boost away then boost turn untill they are in sights again, then repeat from the slowing down bit above.

I am getting used to the Mamba now.
Getting good at power management swapping pips between engine and weapons.
Have a Vulture and absolutely hate it.
Next up is getting it engineered so time to farm some materials.

i dont use my stick either, currently fighting in my Mamba and it turns so badly that no point getting the stick plugged in for that lol

i love Kill missions where the targets interdicts you,makes things nice and easy :)

Not really thought about the carrier, just handy to have a load of credits to blow on ships I like the look off.
Have 500million and plan to do some missions for rank and standing soon and get some engineers unlocked and nice to be able to zoom around without having to worry about credit if I get blown up.

I’m taking advantage of the triple diamond hotspot in Borann while it lasts to fill up my wallet. It will be gone with a coming update as introduction of new minable mineral will rejig things.
Something I think should happen all the time, have the asteroid respawn randomly after being depleted.

I’m trying to get my dad to get the Grand tundra or the twin engine Mule something as it also looks good fun. Then I can fly it when I visit :)

I did, and i decided i was happy with half and not having to make the jump, it was more like 15-18 jumps when i looked at the ones with prices around the 1 million.

Will have a closer look when i next to back to get some diamonds.

before getting the Python i mined diamonds in the Challenger worked quite well.
I had 1 small mining lasers and fitted turrets in all the other slots, this was enough that i could kill the pirates that spawned in belt.
But easy enough to work around the NPC pirates when in Solo.

maybe some mining in a Wing in Borann at some point in a Private group session to boost our wallets :)

Mine diamonds in Borann solo, jump into the ring wait for pirat to spawn, will then leave as your hold is empty, never managed not to evade interdiction by NPC unless I want to stop to kill the pirat.
In python it’s around 60 diamonds in half an hour and can sell them for 530k credit each one jump away.

might just be my aim as the one time i managed to get to where i needed to be in the Vulture i could not get through the shield of a tiny ship with 2 multicanons.

just bought a Vulture and hating it due to the short jump range.
will start doing some missions now to get some standings up as i have mostly just been mining to save up a bunch of cash until now.

bought myself an Alliance Challenger for mining, perfect for my need, fill the cargo with diamonds without the session being to long and fitted turrets so i can easily blast the belt pirates wile playing with a mouse.
Just bought a Mamba on looks alone so time to get the joystick out and go zoom around a bit.

think i will plug in my hotas tomorrow and give it a go.
Also just watched some videos of game with Oculus rift, i want one now.

you guys using Mouse or Stick?
Guessing for fighting a stick is a must? so far just been flying around using mouse which is fine for mining, but i cant keep up when trying to shoot the pirates.

it seems to be a bug for me, i can fire tons of probes and nothing, logout and back in and the hotspots are there.

am i doing something wrong when trying to find mining hotspots with the DSS, it never shows anything, unless if i fly away and dock and come back out, then its shows up.
Help :)
