I have experience of creos and fierys which are used to control Canon,Ricoh,Xerox and Konica Minolta digital press’s (photocopiers basicaly but on steroids with lots of things to twiddle and fiddle with). Its not rocket science but not a piece of piss either especially if you have demanding clients. You should be able to ask the people who service it if you can have a visit from their trainer, a decent company will not charge for this you will also get some training on the machines which is worthwile.
Good luck in the new job you should be fine if you used CAD just ask lots of questions and make some notes

If I was in your shoes I would go for the company car as if you leave, get sacked, made redundant or promoted and don’t have a car etc you can just walk away same as if the engine cough its guts all over the road as a company car you just pick up the phone and get a replacement instead of thinking how much is it going to cost.

Also as a company car all the cost and hassle is their problem just be careful if they try to screw you for any damage

Sounds like giro were pricing high in the UK and making nice margins then some nasty boys found the same item for less in other markets so purchased a container load and sold them to us in the UK at a good price.

Then some of you think that is bad ??? Sounds good to me esp as its the same product

If you want more down than up have a look at Switchbacks same area and they share some trails but you get to ride downhill more, still some climbing though. The area is great but be aware it is very rocky so pads make good sense

BMI is a rough tool for the average build if you are a slight or stocky build it it useless.

170cm tall average man has a 36-38″ chest and 30″ waist (wetsuit sizing)

If you have a bigger chest ie 44″ and corresponding waist you come up as over weight and visa versa if a slight build but for the average its ok

You misunderstand not dissing gas BBQ (I had one for several years) but tbh the kettle charcoal type seem to be better mind I might have had a rubbish one. Also the charcoal is cheaper to buy and not much to go wrong.

This site has a good review of both,I rate this site as it not only gives you recipes it explains why and how it is my go to site for all BBQ info and so far all the info has been good

    Gas BBQ ??? Really ?

Just get a Weber charcoal kettle job it will last decades combined with a chimney starter and you are good to go.

If you are burning the outside and getting raw inside you need to brush up your techniques, I had a gas BBQ but now use a charcoal Weber kettle and am loveing it

That’s normal (reduction for normal wear and tear) it’s to do with you being better off if you get a new part as the previous part had X % life used. Its a bugger but normal good luck fighting it, as as you have found life and insurance companies are not fair.:-(

Glyo as above but buy from your local pound shop or cheapo shop as it is out of licence now so it don’t matter what name is on the label just the percentage and guess where it is cheaper ?

For occasional use get a B/W laser printer as they are much cheaper to run than a colour and far more reliable. If you have problems it will probably cheaper to replace it than repair it.

I am not sure about using stainless for load bearing bolts where a failure could Cause the rack to fail. Here is some info I found

    http://www.volksbolts.com/faq/basics.htm

I would be looking for high tensile bolts tbh if they are under any stress

That tiller looks like a beast, have you used a tiller/Rotavator before?. They can give you a right good workout, what do you plan on using it for? There is a difference between a tiller and Rotavator the later is for breaking virgin/rough ground.

I was advised by a friend in the know to get one with a Honda engine as they start and lots of the others are a right sod to start, so got a Honda f220 off eBay its great easy to lift into the car and has got my 300m2 sorted

I had a look at the tyre and the shop had fitted cut down gaffer tape but 4mmtoo wide. After fitting 25mm gorilla tape and an old valve it went up to 40 psi with no dramas, just waiting for the arrival of a bolt on Schrader valve from eBay and job done

    Cheers for the info guys

Don’t sign the new contract dispute it and you will stay on your old one, don’t forget they need you more than you need them good staff are hard to find. He sounds like he is throwing his weight around and he needs a reality check.

    Good luck
