i would,nt worry to much about what people say on this site if i were you,its well renowned as being the default website for the smug .

if you go to and do whites first and then go down and park at afan about 3 o clock you should get away with paying for a half day ticket (£1.50)

Went on holiday with aqr about six weeks ago,rode one day with a guy called simon who is the uk importer of nicolai ,him and his girlfriend were riding nicolais with rohloff hubs and a really great looking camo paintjob,my god what fantastic looking bikes.I,d absolutley love one but a pesky thing called money keeps getting in the way(or lack of!!).

i try to clean and look after my bike as much as i can,i work a crappy low paid job to buy my bike things and my bike is my way of getting out and enjoying myself and forgeting that i have a crappy low paid job.

thanks mate i think i,ve ridden up that path before,a few buildings to the left(or was it just an old caravan ?)i took the right path which looked like it just dropped down to cwmafan so i turned around and carried on my way to neath.To colin at rush ,dont worry mate i,m in my thirties and i mostly ride alone so i wont draw attention to the place,if i go up there atall that is as i live in swansea now but an originaly from baglan.

could i get to these if i went up the bwlch from baglan,any directions how to find them please

Saw this in the post tonight,gutted for the bloke,but if you,re going to leave a bike like that in wind st on saturday night you,ve got more money than sense.Hope he gets it back tho,looks a great bike

Bit of a stupid question as i am completly skint but how much would the commencal cost and can you buy them off the peg.Not that my riding could ever justify a bike like that but its nice to dream.

What do you mean the full story,i bought the bike rode it came back from a ride ,washing the bike noticed the crack(on the right hand chainstay tube at a place where it could,nt have taken a direct hit without first hitting the chainrings)only ridden it up afan and then the biggest drop off i did was about eight inches .i,ve been riding a bike a while so i know what would be unreasonable riding on the bike i bought.
I suppose i just bought one with a flaw ,doe,snt help me though,the summer is ticking by and i,m still bileless.

Afan lodge is supposed to be good.Never stayed there myself but heard good things about the place.
