The bikes I have now thorn xtc (had it 10 years) and rocky mountain element(7 years),both perfect for what I want to do.Though if I wasn’t skint I wouldn’t need much encouragement to update the mountain bike :-)

I bought a tenn waterproof jacket for £25 from a thread on here in fact,wore it in about 5 hours rain today and it coped really well and if fits great and seems well made,i,m going to take a chance on their waterproof shorts from their ebay store for £20 aswell .Happy to pay for gore etc when I have the cash but atm I haven’t and this tenn stuff seems decent for the money.

I fell for the hype on this stuff,found it to be pretty crap,you need to set up an iv drip on the bike to make it last longer than 5 minutes.Think I,ll stick with a wet lube and clean and look after my chain/drivetrain ,I use my bikes daily and my stuff lasts ages but I guess I was looking for that holy grail of lubes that work and are clean,it doesn’t exist.

I know hardly anything about cars and the closest I’ve been to engines is taking apart various lambrettas and vespas when I was younger but I seem to always watch this if its one I haven’t seen,quite like watching him fix up cars,maybe it helps if you don’t know if he’s doing a crap job or not.

I,m a Swansea fan and I’ve probably watched a few hundred games in my lifetime mostly in the lower leagues with the odd big cup or play off game throw in and even though I haven’t got the money to go nowadays(even if I could get a ticket) it’s great to see what a brilliantly well run club they are.
And it was bizarre to hear van gaal saying monk changing the shape of the swans team threw his team and they couldn’t cope,he’s the manager its his job to solve those problems,strange comment really.
