1 I work all about the area and can be sent out of the office at a moments notice. I work from the office, but can’t promise to be in it.

2 the company won’t handle staff post, collections or sending.

I’ve given up with Garmin’s dreadful software. My wife’s 520 is a folder which you can drag the recent event out of or put the next route into. My watch is next to useless as it needs a driver to read it and express is very poor. Strava (for all it’s bad points) just works. Garmin connect is that special sort of ‘Septic’ irony, eg it does not connect.

I used a method of checking the caliper seals using bog roll behind the pads for any trace evidence of Leaking. nothing was found.

ok conflicting advice. I usually work the pistons during the service with a little fluid over the seals holding one back and making the lazy piston move until they both shift, rarely does this result in two perfectly meeting, then a full clean and degrease then refit the pads using the lever clamp method.

Bugger! Done that to death with cleaning agents and cloths which is why I went with brand new pads and discs. Still It hasn’t moved yet so It could be removed, but I’m really in need of advice regarding the ‘alignment’ advice. Where and to what to you Align the caliper with? The disc, the frame how?

from memory, and someone will correct me I’m sure, but wasn’t some funding they were applying for dependent on the park being open access for everyone, not just those with a dobbin and a range rover? Bolts tightened to torq. Clean surfaces faced mounts too. Alignment is done either visually or by clamping the disc with the pads then tightening the bolts down. How would you go about aligning the cal opera to the disc?
