I must be the only R4 listener who can’t stand Just a Minute.
Don’t know why, but I suspect it’s my dislike of that smug tosser Paul Merton.

I run my Gryphon with a 90mm stem and a set of flat (740mm)bars.
    Works suprisingly well .

Coughed me way round the 35k in 2.22. Kudos to the lad on the full suss and Swalbe slicks, must have been a nightmare in places.
somehow managed to brake two spokes in the back wheel and didn’t notice until I cleaned the bike when I got home. the wheel is still running surprisingly true.

Watching the dog chase around with his two lurcher “mates”. Bloody hell they’re fast.
My granddaughters first go on her Islabike Rohan.
    Her face on Christmas day.

My grandaughter had one of these. Brilliant device, sorted her out a treat. The way she charges about and climbs things (now two) you’d never know.
She’ll sleep legs akimbo for a while mind.

Our resident Afrikaan racist at work claims he died in August and they’ve kept the body on ice till the film came out.
But he also doesn’t believe in evolution or women working!

“1st missjudged a jump and snapped it mid shaft, plated.

2nd, sliped on some gravel on the xc bike and the bone snaped round the end of the plate, plated again.

3rd, near stationary, hit a patch of diesel at a give way line! There’s a pattern, the accidents are getting more inoquious!”

Next time it’ll just be a hard stare!

The CCGT station at Didcot is still running, but don’t do tours.
To be honest there’s not much to see, just a load of lagged boxes making a lot of noise. The old A station last did a public tour in 1993 (if I remember correctly). My daughter who was three at the time still remembers it.

I’d have thought someone like Merida/Canyon/ etc would come higher.

    First time visit yesterday afternoon.
I resurrected my 26″ Sanderson life, which I’ve not ridden for over a year, thinking a Singular Gryphon (with flat bars) was not the tool for the job.
Having been overtaken by a group including a few rigid 29ers I guess I was wrong.

Just noticed you’re after a 1/8″ chain; why?

Got lovely 1/8 velosolo chainring. 🙂

The chain I’ve got is a KMC510s, buried well down in the KMC website.

Jackie Pallo was my Grans favorite.
I remember the commentator (Kent Walton?) always used to sign off with
“have a good week till next week”
My brother and I still use the phrase when we speak on the phone.

Ours (Ludo above) gets an hour in the morning and the same in the evening. At weekends normally a bit more.
He likes running and I like walking, so I don’t mind.
He’s also a good cycling companion and will do 12 miles across the Berkshire downs at a resonable pace. I let him dictate speed and diversions to chase pheasants, drink etc. We’ve built up to this distance over a period of 6 months from the age of 18 months so as not to strain his joints as he grew.
Like most dogs they’ll take as much exercise as you’ll give them.
