We went. I like Italian cars and have owned Italian Motorbikes.
My other half described me as being “like a dog with two dicks”.
    So many lovely machines.
favorites were the Motoguzzi cafe racer and this stunning 1960s Masarati.
Reminds me of a DB5, but with a more balanced profile.

As others have said a lovely day in the countryside. kudos to the bloke who did it with his son on a trailerbike, must have made the descents entertaining.
Also does anyone know if the young lad who came off his cx bike at one of the fords, before the feed stop, was ok. Looked like he went down pretty hard.

Maybe it’s a regional thing with the quality of the stores.
I’ve started using our local Co-op more recently (down South).
The prices are competitive with Sainsbury and Waitrose (not to difficult I admit) and the stock levels are always good with a reasonable choice. The staff are good and efficient.
Mind, I go in early on a Saturday when it’s normally only me and a couple of dozen old biddies, so I’m done and out before they’ve finished discussing their lumbago etc in the middle of the aisles.

Our fella was chipped from a puppy, but when he went walkabout and was delivered to the local vets, by a stranger who’d found him, they couldn’t find a trace of a chip. Our vet recons they can migrate around the body sometimes and the scan needs to be very thorough to find it.

    I’d be interested too.
Wheelsets are looking a bit pricey.

    Hit it’s target of £15k.

Time to start planning and collecting parts 😀

I might get some frames sent raw which we can then have finished locally for an additional charge

That sounds like a great idea if you can pull it off. I’d like one in the lovely shade of green the Hummingbird came in. Reminded me of my grandads shed.

Oh so tempted by this. saw one of the prototypes at the London Bike Show.
Not so keen on the colour, but at that price a respray would not be out of the question.

What are the current rim and tyre options out there?

Using a single ring (Race Face narrow/wide) mounted on the inside face of my XT double. Seems to work fine with no issues, although I know theres a bit of rub as the side plates of the chains look a bit worn.
Can’t remember if I used the original chainring bolts or some I had kicking around.

I know where Upton is, I know where the nuclear sewage comes from and I’ve kicked one of Henrietta Knight’s drakes up the arse before, but where the hell is the Rhino?

Now my dads in a care home with Alzheimer’s disease I realise that most of the time he was right, but at the time it used to drive me up the wall.

Was a supplier now a customer.
I always try to be resonable having been on the receiving end.
    Things I’ve noticed:
English suppliers = flexible and generally try to help speed things along especially if your polite and stay calm.
German suppliers = “if we say three weeks, we mean three weeks not a day sooner (even if it’s on the shelf) or later”
American suppliers = “if we say three weeks, we mean three months”

Have a search over on “song of the paddle” forum.
I know a few people on there are involved with clubs, CE etc and would give some good advice.
It’s one of the most civilised forums on t’internet, no name calling or anything!

Used to work with a handbag Dave.
Possibly the campest man I ever met.
He’d “entertain” us at lunchtimes with tales of his sordid sexual exploits.
He moved to Cornwall and is, I suspect, the gayest builder in the South West.

I’ve got a Spin cycles Ti stem on my Gryphon.
Doesn’t seem to flex when I’m out the saddle, but I’m normally focusing on how much my legs hurt at that point so may not notice.

Any fans of ‘The Secret World’?

I see William Haig in a whole new light since The Secret World started.
Plus Sean Connerys fight club was genius.
