As it has under BB cables, I guess it should.

I’ll see what I can do.

Thanks, customer services are sending me one out today :)

I had to do the eyes closed marching as well, doc was clearly enjoying himself as he let me turn 90 degrees, walk backwards into his desk and fall over. How I laughed…

I had it last year, 3 weeks of feeling seasick and not being able to walk in a straight line. Nasty thing. GP told me unless I was being sick there wasn’t much point him prescribing anything. Hope you feel better soon.

ps should a kaffenback frame come with the bb cable guide? (sorry!)

Theres one on display in one of the Leicester stores @ £599 so there should be some stock about, bit odd it’s not on the website though

Funny you posted this, I finally got a refund this morning although I think raising a PayPal dispute last night had something to do with it.
Even with Brants involvement nobody from the sales/service side of the business bothered to get in touch.

    Truly appalling service.

I was planning on buying a kaffenback soon but after this experience I think cotic will be getting my money instead.

I’m really starting to get annoyed now, still waiting for some acknowledgement from anyone (other than Brant) at Planet x. Way back on page 1 I mentioned that I had been waiting a week for an order and that my emails to the CEO were bouncing, Brant asked for the bounced emails and said he’d passed them on to the relevant people and someone would be in touch, I chased with him a couple of days later as I’d still not had the bits (I’d spent over 15 minutes listening to music on the phone hoping to resolve it through customer services before emailing him directly) two days later and my order still shows ‘preparing to be shipped’ I’ve just spent nearly half an hour again listening to music on the customer services line without speaking to a real person so I think it is time to raise a claim through paypal.

I’m not blaming Brant, in fact I think it’s great that he steps in and offers to help on threads like these, but, he really shouldn’t have to. This is the first order I’ve had problems with in a couple of years of buying bits, in fact a reverb I got for £130 the week before turned up within 12 hours of ordering, so when it works it’s great – it just seems like once the ball has been dropped nobody gives a damn.

I’m still waiting for an order I placed last Monday, several emails apologising for the delay at the beginning of the week and then nothing.
I emailed the CEO to request the order was either dispatched or cancelled but the address is returning an undeliverable message which says the address isn’t being monitored.
Why give a direct email address then cancel it a week later.

I’ve just moved from giffgaff to them as they are the only network with decent coverage where I live, can get between 5 and 10Mb speeds at home depending where in the house I am but I’ve never seen above 12Mb even in city centres (giffgaff used to regularly give 20Mb at work in Leicester)

Still available on the Planet x site, oddly I ordered one this morning and there were only 13 in stock, now it’s showing 14 left.

If they are blowing that frequently are you sure you’re not touching the glass when you fit them? Not sure exactly why but the grease from your fingers will cause the bulbs to blow quite quickly.
Also cheap bulbs often don’t perform as well as the better brands as modern headlights are designed to have the bulb filament in a very precise location to give the best beam pattern, cheap bulbs often don’t have the filament in the right place.
When I ran a motor factors I saw an osram rep do a demo with a rig made of a headlight and one of the units mot stations use to check beam pattern, even with the bulbs off our shelves there was a surprisingly large difference in beam patterns between the Bosch/osram bulbs and the white box cheap ones.

Also been getting the same combo as scuzz on a nexus 4 running the latest 4.4.2 update, only seems to happen on the phone network (giffgaff btw) never seem it at home on the tablet either

Definitely recommend costco if you’ve got one near, I got some of their heavy duty black racking for the man cave – about £100 a unit, it’s almost identical to this from machine mart but with wire shelves. One bay is set up with hooks so the bikes can hang up out of the way and another one full of really useful boxes.

I’ve got a 20d that I keep meaning to put on ebay.
It’s in really good condition and has taken about 7000 shots if I remember correctly – I upgraded to a 40d when they came out then sold that to help fund the 7d I still use, kept the 20d as a back up but haven’t used it for several years now. I’ve got the kit lens and a genuine battery grip as well.

We used Solmar in April this year, booked through doyouspain, friends we went with ended up using goldcar.

We’d booked an ‘ibiza or similar’ for 70 euros for 10 days but ended up with a chevrolet tin box, although the booking was for return empty we upgraded to their premium package for about 30 euros which included all the extra insurance and changed to a return full policy.
Their depot is a 10 min drive from the airport, the car had 60k on the clock and every panel was scuffed but it drove ok (if you ignored a slight misfire until the engine was warm)

Our friends queued for nearly 2 hours with goldcar, had to pay extra for the full insurance and were stuck with a return empty policy. They had also booked an ibiza or similar but got a new yaris with 8k on the clock.

I’d use them again, and it was nice to be told that they didn’t care what state the car came back in as we had the premium cover.

I got a dualit architect from costco a few months ago when they were £45 , much better than the tefal one it replaced.
It does lovely consistent toast from the first slice and pops up!

Not sure on the estate but on the hatchbacks the seal in the wiper motor goes and screenwash goes straight into the boot.

I dabbled about with ‘one of those’ copies of CS4, then bought elements which did 99% of what I wanted but I never got on with the organiser. I tried the trial of LR2 but never really got on with it but recently downloaded LR5 and I’m now converted, there really isn’t much it can’t do now unless you are compositing several pictures together, think it is still being sold with a 20% discount.

If it helps sway the Mrs my camera is virtually unmarked, just a bit of wear to the flash shoe and the boxes are in the loft so should be perfect as well, from memory the manual is a bit dog eared though.

I’ve got a Canon EOS 20d and kit lens that’s not been used since I bought a 7d that you could have for £150+postage. It’s got a couple of batteries and the battery grip and I’ve probably got a spare soft case somewhere.
It’s ‘only’ 8mp but takes stunning photos which print really well upto A4 and I’ve even done some at A3.

180 bottles will be approx 225-230kg, so roughly equivalent to a couple of 17stone blokes sat in the back.
I’d say unless your in a tiny car that should be fine.

I’d try arguing it’s covered under the sale of goods act, products must last a reasonable time – if you’ve got apple admitting a battery should last 1000 cycles but yours has failed after 250 then your battery has only lasted a 1/4 of the expected life.

I fought with the site on friday to buy some bits, had an order acknowledgement email and paypal email to say I’d paid – this morning get an email from them saying I’ve got items in my basket (and listing what I bought on fri) and would I like to go back and complete my order.
Log back in and basket is empty. numpties.

I had real signal issues with the first 4.3 update, as in no signal in the house at all – I do live in the sticks and signal was always marginal before. After the second update signal strength is better but if it looses signal I either have to reboot or cycle airplane mode to get it back. No issues at all in good signal areas.
Contemplating rolling back to 4.2.2 if it’s possible.

Cilaryblue did some for me, under £20 for basic lenses in the inserts. no point having high index lenses as they are so small.

Can you offer to strip it down and respray in her choice of colours, new shiny paint and some new grips and saddles wont make it look like a hand down

I had fakely jawbones glazed by cilary blue last summer, my prescription is -4.5 and they are basically unwearable due to the distortion. My brain can almost compensate when I’m sitting still but as soon as I move the world looks very very strange and I have really messed up depth perception and a cracking migraine after 20 mins or so.
I would say that unless you can find glasses which keep the lenses at 90 degrees to your face you’ll have problems*

*I’m short sighted, I’ve no idea if the distortion would be the same for long sight.

We booked with doyouspain a few weeks ago and was given a car through sol-mar it was very cheap but the car was awful – booked as an ibiza or similar, got a chevrolet aveo with 95k on the clock, every panel was damaged it misfired at 3k rpm when the engine was hot and it had a horrible wobble at 100kmh.
Friends we went with also used doyouspain but their car came from gold car and was a brand new toyota yaris with less than 5k on it for about £25 more over the 10 days.

Not quite what you’re planning but when our last camper succumbed to terminal rot we went from a pop top vw t3 with full camper conversion to a t3 multivan, it’s still got a rock and roll bed for the odd night away and a fold up table so we can eat if it’s rainy but it is far more practical as a day van 90% of the time. We camp with a kyham motor dome sleeper awning and a small trailer if were going for longer than a weekend. 3 bikes fit inside easily with the wheels off (but we also have a proper bike rack that goes on the back). Definitely the best move we made since having kids.

Our terracotta one fell apart last night just after reloading with wood 8O it was over 10 years old and has been moved round the garden and patio regularly. Thinking of a fire pit to replace it though.

They are a bunch of muppets. I reordered and paid for ‘next day delivery’ as we will be away next week – hence trying to use an alternative delivery address on my original cancelled order.
Got a shipping email on thursday but looking at the tracking info they only got the readers to ups (in the netherlands) on friday.
They aren’t responding to emails and i can’t initiate a chat session. no doubt ups will have returned them by the time we get back – ups will only talk to me once they have made one delivery attempt so I can’t even ask them to hold the package.

Octavia TDi? We’ve got an 03 one which happily does 50mpg+ on a run, old enough to not have dpf filters or need the mega expensive oil, tax is c£60 a year. Should be able to get a very good one for £1800.

edit: can get 2 bikes in the back with the seats down and one wheel off each and although the dash is a bit plasticy the seats are decent.

I’ve now got a ‘scheduled to ship’ email on a second order, like Willard I checked out on the first order as a guest but created an account the second time – same card as well.
