    Severance – Superb
See – very good with some well done physical acting.
Tiny Worlds – The narration is very ‘Disney’ but the camera work is amazing.
Ted Lasso – super and I hate football.
    Slow Horses – Yup!
    Invasion – super

    Far more reliable correlations include.

Number of flat-roofed pubs in the vicinity.

Number of England flags blocking upstairs windows per street.

Number of men who think a ‘singlet’ is appropriate street wear per head of population.

    More crap.
Most of the pubs round here that I would avoid don’t have flat roofs.

There are plenty of England flags, but it’s still a huge minority, the difference is you notice them and they’re vocal.

^^^^^^ it is. Maybe a splitting of the vote into many not just two parties can be a step to that. For one as a life long Labour supporter, I don’t see future elections to oust Conservatives as Labour must win but the opposition must win, the opposition is really much more then the house majority opposition.

Those who shout loudest are all you hear.
The real question is how we engage the others to raise their voices in response.

OK. Around here it’s extremely multi cultural, however the minority of extremist nationalists are very vocal and loud and rally round to vote for their possibly miss given (sadly uneducated) beliefs. The rest struggle to be engaged due to our useless FPTP system, sadly this mistake means the minority nationalist view appear MUCH louder than it actually is.
You know the bus full of people all being sensible and one tit is smoking and playing loud music on his phone therefore all public transport is awful, when actually it’s a minority of one amongst hundreds. But they feel they can’t stand up for themselves because of shouty violent types.

the more metropolitan South disagrees with the more nationalist North

As a North dweller in a fairly deprived area, you are talking utter bullshit.

#Controversial: As a guitarist I say stop learning theory using hacks to make it guitar friendly. Buy a really cheap midi keyboard and learn theory on that, it’s linear makes more sense immediately and once you get it is translatable to all other western instruments. The only guitar caveat is learning where ALL of the notes are!

….but balance that with there is no cost of paper, printing, distribution.
I suspect the price is more about nudging you onto a subscription.

To be perfectly honest even at full price they’re cheaper now than they were when you were buying them on tape or CD.

Accept 1983. Got dragged along by a metal head friend and I was allowed to go as it wasn’t a scary punk gig (which my parents barred me from, I was 13)
Blew me away and created my my 80’s love of early thrash (it was just hard core punk with solos and satan after all)

I’m not condoning it, but don’t underestimate, the pressure of being in a stressful situation, then hearing someone take the piss out of someone you love and their medical condition and battle to deal with it. How many of us would possibly fly off the handle in such a situation? We may say we wouldn’t but the reality may be quite different.

365 is subscription only (Unless you have an ltsc enterprise version install, but that wouldn’t say 365) So technically you or someone else (employer?) has been paying for it somewhere.

There’s been so many wonderful words already here. Really anything by Nick Cave, Neil Hannon (Divine Comedy), Billy Bragg, Steve Earle.
My personal favourite lyric poet is Justin Sullivan from New Model Army.

The time I think most clearly, the time I drift away
Is on the bus-ride that meanders up these valleys of green and grey
I get to think about what might have been and what may yet come true
And I get to pass a rainy mile thinking of you
And all the while, all the while, I still hear that call
To the land of gold and poison that beckons to us all
Nothing changes here very much, I guess you’d say it never will
The pubs are all full on Friday nights and things get started still
We spent hours last week with Billy boy, bleeding, yeah queuing in Casualty
Staring at those posters we used to laugh at,
Never Never Land, palm trees by the sea
Well there was no need for those guys to hurt him so bad
When all they had to do was knock him down
But no one asks to many questions like that since you left this town
    And tomorrow brings another train
    Another young brave steals away
But you’re the one I remember
From these valleys of green and the grey
You used to talk about winners and losers all the time, as if that was all there was
As if we were not of the same blood family, as if we live by different laws
Do you owe so much less to these rain swept hills than you owe to your good self?
Is it true that the world has always got to be something
That seems to happen somewhere else?
For God’s sake don’t you realize that I still hear that call
Do you think you’re so brave just to go running to that which beckons to us all?
No, not for one second did you look behind you
    As you were walking away
Never once did you wish any of us well
Those who had chosen to stay
And if that’s what it takes to make it
In the place that you live today
Then I guess you’ll never read these letters that I send
From the valleys of the green and the grey

Despite oxygen-free copper (OFC) being notoriously difficult to machine process, the WM1ZM2 features a gold-plated OFC chassis – just like its predecessor. This time though, OFC purity has been upgraded to 99.99% (four nines), offering even greater benefits in terms of audio quality and high rigidity. Bass notes are clear and powerful, the atmosphere is more expansive, and mid to high range sounds linger beautifully

    Wow Such bullshit.

Nirvana at Newcastle Mayfair just before Nevermind went ballistic. The venue held about 1200, if everyone who said they were there actually was it would have been about 10000 through the doors. You can tell who was really there by asking how shit they were, the correct answer is ‘Utterly’

If he’s learning actual piano then 88 hammer action weighted keys are essential as is a sustain pedal.
If you have the budget (a shade under 500) the Roland FP10 is impossible to beat quality and feel wise.

More budget but still decent is the Casio CPD-110 (about 350) really anything below this is false economy as it won’t play or feel like a piano and as he progresses will need replacing. Buy cheap buy twice applied to digital pianos a lot.

I wonder if any of the collective wonder on here have any experience of using thermal store/heat batteries in Lieu of a traditional hot water cylinder?
The space savings in our small spare room could be significant but I wonder about the running costs?
To be fair I’ve always absolutely hated hot water cylinders. But maybe I’ve only had rubbish ones. Caveat no gas here where I live so it’s electric only. Solar possibly soon if I can get the cash.

For example this kind of unit?

Ok I’m not 7 (considerably older)
I hit my 1 year anniversary of learning piano last week.

Just bite the bullet and get a weighted hammer action digital piano. I started on a synth and the key technique is totally different and your hands need to learn the feel. I can play synth stuff using my Roland digital piano (more than the budget sorry) easily. Playing proper piano technique on the synth was not a good experience.

These are remarkable for the money.

For synth stuff hook it up to an iPad/pc and play virtual synths of which there are loads of freebies.

After a recent shopping trip and the advice of my neighbour who is the main piano gue at a local music shop (who stock Bechstein and Steingraber acoustics amongst others) I bought a Roland Fpx-30.
I demo’d loads, Kawai we’re nice keybeds but had no usb midi, Yamaha also nice but had midi issues (feel free to research it’s common) in that triggering the internal sounds is fine but midi out can’t/won’t send velocity higher than 110.
Korg nice and compact but lacking something in the action.
I keep going back to the Roland’s as they just felt more piano like.

Duo and Azure Active directory MFA (Needs an Azure AD P2 plan to do properly) are the two other big players.
The question is are you wanting M/2FA for sso web apps only or do you want this for servers and client desktops too? If it’s the latter then rule out Azure AD.
