If you like downhill vids, I’m gonna put a shout out for Super8 , also Synopsis / Hypnosis (both in the same series one after the other.

Great interaction and talk with the riders, amazing camera work, gives you great view to the world of DH and 4X racing, in all of them.

Good soundtrack too, not just the general shouty rock that dominated mtb vids for a while.

There was a FS bike bike in the late 80’s/early 90’s called the Monolith. The designer then went to work for Specialized before setting up his own motorcycle parts business.

He also designed the Rebound fork that was used with it. Pretty amazingly looking bike.

Also looks like a lot of metal for a tiny bit of rear travel. I suppose it was back in the day though.

The Ibis Bo-ti is definately an interesting / weird design. Not my cup of tea anyway

Also these two fit that category i think. The Kleins generally had sweet paint jobs though.

I’d love to see it as well! Is it downloadable anywhere?

Its actually the couriers responsibility how long it takes to arrive and whether its fast or slow, nothing to do with CRC. Thats what they told me when i was waiting for a package for well over a week anyway.

Unless i pay for next day delivery things usually take 4 days to a week.

Did anyone else not really like life cycles? It was a bit too heart felt for me. Too many shots of leaves blowing in the wind and stuff like that.

They pretty awesome, always lend me an extra light mount at races for a spare bike. Cheers!

Generally faster just to order a new one and return the original for a refund though.

This is what I’ve done, way easier.

Sprung 5 is a must watch, its slightly old school now (early 00’s maybe), but has some excellent riding and camera shots and puts some of the newer movies to shame i think.

NWD 10 is my fav recent one.

All the Earthed films are pretty good as well.

You can download them all for free at Extreme-vidz.com.

NWD 1 is a must see i think for the opening Josh Bender segment!

I have all four of their big albums, can’t get enough, started listening to them about 14 years ago!

“Wake Up” from their self titled album is one of my favourites too.

Soo much better than all the X-crapter stuff anyway, glad they got the No. 1 last year!!

    that seems quite easy actually

Are you talking about the scratchy sound, or the main melody tune bit? I don’t know how to talk about it properly. The scratchy bit is the part I love.

I love his guitar in this track too, might sound rubbish if it wasn’t part of a song though.

No never played the guitar, I’ve held a guitar and messed around in some drunk sessions, also a bass, played the drums for about six years though.

Nicer position on my road bike for long climbs. Also one you have speed its easier to maintain the speed on a road bike.

Yeah eat less and exercise more. But really it would help if you asked questions as to what you’re having trouble with and why you’ve never been able to shift the weight.

Also, I’d recommend going over to the MensHealth.co.uk forums, big helpful and knowledgeable bunch over there with lots of people always asking similar questions.

Helvellyn in late July – better by bike!

Sweet..Can you ride all the way to the top and back down? Or do you have to hike a bike some of it?

We weren’t particularly smart when it came to food and our main staple food was Hobnob biscuits with butter on

    hilarious.

I don’t think there’s any way the average shop can match CRC’s prices. It’s just a huge factory warehouse with everything bought in massive bulk amounts. I like CRC for some things, but sometimes you need to try things on before you buy and pay the extra few quid (helmets, shoes). Also if something goes wrong with an order its a pain in the arse sending something back or following it up.

I hate the manager of my lbs, but i use them for some things anyway…

The lifts are mostly shut now. I went on first week of sept before, a couple of lifts open and the company i was with did shuttle runs anyway.

I have ORO’s, they work perfectly for me, only been bled once in the years I’ve had them. Are the pistons pushed all the way in? I just use a screwdriver to force them back.

Yep, snapped mine in half skiing one year. I was off the mtb for a good while, eased back into road and turbo training slowly though. Was off the mtb for about 10 weeks.

Yeah commentators for mtb on Eurosport are as dull as dried out porridge. I never watch mtb on there anymore, and if i do i usually find it better on mute.

They were getting some of the riders names wrong one time i saw it, talking about “Michael Hannah”. Everyone knows he’s called Sick Mick!!

Looks small and flimsy alright, mine has stayed put and never moved though (apart from once which was my fault when i didn’t tighten it enough). Solid light, i love mine!
