Maybe some people buy lights that are much brighter than they need for trail riding, but I know sometimes in the middle of the night during a 24 solo, it can seem very dark and gloomy indeed, especially if it gets misty or foggy.. and thats with an exposure six pack and joystick.

Yeah just looking for a good all mountain ski, something that can shred the pow but not feel too big and clumsy on the piste, on the few occasions I do ski on piste..

Best not too have a warm bath, if you want your legs to be better foe the next day, jump in a clod bath for a few minutes. I did this once after a 24 hour race and I was a lot better the next day.

Yeah, I’ve been using one for a couple of years, brilliant well worth having. I even carry mine in the car to races now If I’m staying over night somewhere!

I have been communicating with here by text and email in the past, not sure why she isn’t getting back to me.

I asked if I could move out on about the 20th of the month and get someone else for the room for the 1st of the next month so she isn’t left out of pocket.

Don’t be waving that health care arguemnt around please, such a stuck record when it comes to stuff like this. Nothing exciting would ever get built, and nothing interesting like this would have the chance to get discovered if everything was spent on health care.

Obv skiers think skiing is better, boarders think boarding is better. But the real differences as to which one is “better”, or more suited to you, only really become appaerent when you reach a very high level I would say.

I’m a ski instructor and I know people that do both..

In skiing you probably have more control going down narrow steep chutes than boarding, with shorter turn ability and the poles to help swing around…

Also boarding you’re screwed if you run out of speed on a flat section.

I prefer skiing, it all depends.

trail centres are very crap compared to natural trails

There really isn’t any such thing as a natural trail. Its a contradiction in terms. With very minor exceptions they’ve all been built by someone at some point.

Well I walked from main street where I’m staying all the way past the science museum and along the coast path then got the boat over to granville island and back which was very nice. Whats up with the old doosh bag P!ssing everyone off with his outrageous singing though! Like one of the worst people on britains got talent, that type of thing.

Walked over to Stanley Park and got lost for a few hours, then went the Auqarium which i regretted the minute i got in. I was nearly kicking kids out of the way so i could get anywhere.. not literally but the buggers were everywhere!

In Chinatown now, not really bothered to do anything though! Shattered from all the walking.
