I have always had Hopes, when I needed spares they are very easy to get hold of. My current M4's are 4 years old, 1 fluid replacement is all so far.
Three of my mates are running Juicy 7/Ultimates which are give or take a year old, all have suffered seizing pistons this winter, 1 requiring new pistons.

If you are near Surrey I have the following I would like to get rid of due to a new larger tank. As long as you clean out a tank properly, set it up and leave it running for a weel or so to settle you’ll be fine.

The tank measures 30″*12″*15″ The lid had a light unit in it and it comes with an Eheim Classic external filter and all the pipework. Basically everything you need as a starter set up minus some gravel. £60

The sale of goods act is aimed principaly at the sale of NEW goods. If it is used goods then the test of reasonableness would be used in court for the condition of the vehcile based on the above. ie is it reasonable that at this age and mileage these parts are worn to this extent.

Despite what some might say the magic sale of goods act isn’t as clear cut as it would seem.

Sorry to say (and I don’t often agree with them) but I think the advice from consumer direct is correct.

All C4’s have the lock on the nearside. a new key cost you about £80 plus programming. If the spring has broken, known fault. If out of warranty ask dealer to contact customer relations you might get a contribution towards cost
