I askwed this question in my lbs on Wednesday. 2009 EX9.. They spoke to trek uk and the answer is no. both the 2008/09 mag rocker is different to rocker fitted to the 10/11 models with the DCRV shocks. Early rockers have a through bolt for the shock to be attached to,DRCV rockers are designed for the allen key bolts to screw into the shock.

Aslo differences in the frame geometry for mounts etc.

    hiya Woody,
can guide you round the forest no probs. Can’t do this wednesday night though as the missus has selflessly booked a girlie night out.

Can to Tues nights, wed days, Thurs and friday day or nights this week. My rep is undeserved though, I only ask that you come with appropriate head wear ( gimp mask) and lyrca or PVC is fine too. I will provide spare bindings.

Also , depends on what phone you use.. HTC desire and I’ve had no problems. Mate’s apple 4 phone didn’t like the autopause function and would rob him of a mile over a 18 mile loop when comparing to his normal bike computer.. Sotware is regularly updated though, o if there is a glitch , tell them and they sort it.

join the STWchallenge for a start..

The standard app ( free one) is good enough, but for £2.61, you can get the pro version, which allows you to race against previous routes yuo or friends have done, and a few other things on there too.
I assume you’ve already logged onto the supporting website?

Yep, brought direct with express postage. Took 3 days and no hassles with customs. Post been fine for

3 years. If I remember I paid about170 to 180, as exchange rate was a bit more favourable at the time.

I got the satmap, very good piece of kit. Haven’t tried any other of the OS mappng gps’s so can’t comment. I got the Satmap at last years mayhem, so got the bike package with a free 1:50K whole of GB chip (£200 by itself) which swung it for me..

    Lol at Phil

I’m currently 9th in the MTQ Spring series with 2385 points after three rounds, having visited 50 CPs in total and scoring an average of 795 points per event.
I scored 375 points on Sunday by visiting 16 of the 27 CPs, valued between 10 and 50 points each, less a deduction of 2 points as a time penalty for arriving back 2 minutes late, for a total of 373 points.
I believe the winner’s score was 440, so as 373 is 84.8% of 440, that means I will have scored 848 league points

    thats numberwang!!

Have just gobbed tea all over my monitor!!

    A38 ride in..

3 mile detour to cover 100 yards due to a burst gas mains on the A38 at Longbridge. (miles 7 – 10) did the detour to see blokes walking around with fags lit up so it must have been a real serious one. Either that or the copper directing traffic at 5;30 was a bit pissed off and was flexing his authoratah!!

cartridge all the time for me too.

cartridge on all my off road bikes since ages ago.. Only bike with C+C is the commuter. Front wheel never have any issues with, but the back always works loose, even when adjusted properly, tightened up using 3 foot adaptors on the cone spanners for extra torque and threadlock..Would stay tight for 2 -3 months then the wobble would come back..reservice etc etc.. Then the races get pitted (the hub is not fecked) but runs with an annoying gritty sound. I have 3 spare XT rearwheels in the garage that have come off my commuter in last 6 years. all with pitted bearing surfaces.

Just whacked on a spare cartridge hubbed rear wheel, and no probs in the last 4 months of truely shite weather….
