Another vote here for trying to clear out the charger socket.

I had a similar issue with my iPhone, a bit of digging with the sim card tool removed a surprising amount of fluff and solved the issue.

Right foot is the “chocolate” foot for me. Trying to ride some sections with the left forward however I’m not ready to tackle a drop higher than a curb like that yet!

Another vote for the Bodum travel mug here, mine served me well until stolen, will be buying another.

They fit perfectly into a bottle cage too by the way, like they were designed for cycle commuters :-)

I had this in my old car for a good couple of years and it served me well, it’s one of the pricier ones but lasted.

I hear corduroy pillows are making headlines.

This made me laugh a lot more than it should have done.

I haven’t been for a while but The Grouse Inn near Froggat used to do a great Sunday lunch and has an open fire. Good Ales too.

It used to get very busy on a sunday with walkers etc. so booking would be advisable.

The Millstone in Hathersage was also good, although I can’t remember if they have a fire.

Slightly off topic as it’s not Lego, but it’s still cool. Debenhams have got these in the Christmas gift section at the moment –

    They’ve also got a V-Twin one.

Thanks for the replies everyone, much appreciated. Managed to get a play on a medium and as some have said here it felt a bit short, a large with the dropper collar down to the seat clamp feels spot on.

    Thanks again!

    Ahhh, thanks yorkshire89!

Not asked at the shops yet, but good idea, will be head that way once the Police have been round. Thankfully the garages are covered by CCTV run by the local housing trust, hopefully they’ll get something.

I use one of these on my mountain and road bikes:

The shorter one fits under the seat quite nicely, with the brackets looped through saddle rails and round the seat post. As they are quite flexible they’re less prone to breakages.

Went to NE Norfolk last summer after hearing good things. Open Spaces, nice towns (Holt, Wells, Sheringham) great beaches and steam trains, its great.

Kelling Heath is worth investigating, nice holiday park. A week of no phone signal and no light pollution, bliss.

There’s the Robin Hood campsite in Slingsby, nr Malton too. Has a play area, little shop and electric hookups. Malton is 5 mins down the road for bigger supermarket.

You’ve got York and Scarborough in either direction and Castle Howard on the doorstep.

Settling quite nicely up in York, looking like a fun ride home. I just wish some people would clear their lights.

I’m not a fan of Vista, the biggest gripe I have with it is not the speed that it boots and runs but the awful copying and moving times. Even a few files seems to take a ridiculous amount of time. Its the first time I’ve had to install a 3rd party program to copy/move.

For anyone else annoyed by it use Teracopy.

Dodds heading out towards the Bike Shop and Mountain Warehouse is really good, and fairly reasonable price wise.

One block of wood, 13 decent sized nails.

Put one nail sticking out of the wood and tell the team they have to balance the others on the head of that one without them touching anything else. One that leaves people thinking for a while and kicking themselves when you show them how to do it.

Is the phone with Orange ? My S2 through them came with a Signal Boost app, its a bit hit an miss really. It does work sometimes but its not something I would rely on. Shame as its a good idea.

Thanks for the replies folks. I’ve managed to pick up an LX RR mech so looking forward to getting on the RR wagon, sounds like the benefits I imagined were right. Although I’m not looking to the first climb with it on :-)

Sounds like I may have to stock up on mechs if it works for me though.

Have a hose or a bucket of cold water ready and got for a ride round your street dragging both brakes until they get hot.

As soon as you get off the bike spin the wheel and run the water over the caliper and rotor, you may need to repeat a couple of times but when the hissing subsides your brakes should be bedded in nicely. I’ve been doing this for years and it works well.

CaseMate do a good one, available from most phone shops. It just clips on the back and protects the corners and back from scuffs.

It’s really thin and you barely notice it on the phone.

There’s always the Wildlife reserve not far down the road in Chapel le Firth as well. Think its called the Chestnut centre. Mainly focussed around Otters but they do have other animals.
