Full St Johns First aid trained, with 2 refreshers a year, always carry full (but small) first aid kit with me – dealt with Leisure Cyclist who had a nasty hand graze after coming off her hired bike on the rough gravel paths round Rutland Water about a month ago – does concern me the amount of people who ride without gloves / helmets

Doomed, I’m afraid – I had one on a Giant in exactly the same place – got it welded up and it then lasted for another 6 months before it went again in the same place!

    Ooo goodie another tyre tart!

Running Panaracer Trailrakers for real muddy gloop!

Ardent 2.25 Front / Aspen 2.25 Rear for trail centres or Ardent 2.25 F&R

For real dry conditions Ignitor 1.9 Front and Larsen TT 1.9 rear

Am struggling for Spring/Autum combo but currently running 2.1 Ignitors – they are ok but still not 100% sure!

Ride South Lincolnshire, natural trails etc etc

Sorry mate – rode on the road for 3 years, it was living in China that got me back on the bike, after a 15 year spell off it! Shanghai is pretty flat and didn’t find any off road but wasn’t really looking for it

Great opportunity to buy Giant bikes dirt cheap though (about £60 – or it was 6 years ago) top spec frames with cheap finishing kit, great to buy and then upgrade!

Drop us an email if you want tips on places to eat / drink etc

    Cheers

Being local(ish) used to start from Kingscliffe – ride halfway round Fineshade (Green and Blue) nip across to do a lap of Wakerley and then back to finish Fineshade before getting back to Kingscliffe. About 14 mile in total – but not done the Fineshade side since it got dark at night
