I think we've had enough of the silly comments.

For anyone like me who's been riding for aeons, get in and sign up with Ed.

He'll tailor the day to meet your needs and will spot your shortcomings in no time at all; I was amazed that by the end of the day I'd learned many new skills, corrected long standing faults and was riding comfortably over and down things I'd hesitated over previously.

All this in a very reasonably priced package, delivered in a friendly, supportive, encouraging way. We had loads of laughs, really a top day out.

At the end of the day she is an individual and entitled to her own views and can decide where she draws the line and takes action on any given issue. ..or shops

M & S is underwritten by AXA now – as is John Lewis' (Greenbee. com) The policies seem identical?

My renewal will be up shortly – it'll be an interesting exercise…. 😯

FYI I'm into hospital Weds to laser another bladder tumour and also to rectify why I retain up to 500ml even after I think my bladder is empty….

If you're that concerned get to the croaker

Unless you ride rockgardens and/or drops/jumps you'll be fine!

Bit late now Billyboy but there are CC's that don't hit you for foreign transactions?

I'd want a mixture, with a few quid in a condom up your rear end just in case!

    Have a great time 😉

I think this has gone on long enough; things have been said that do few of you credit – so it's time to pull the plug.

There's plenty of 'cheek' in the area without venturing into SSSI's and other sensitive areas – as locals know 🙂

If we're talking about The Outwoods, then it is a 'no go' area for cycling. Part of it is a SSSI and it is managed through legally enforceable Byelaws by Charnwood Borough Council, for whom Mark Graham works. I can see no chance for permitted access for cyclists here. There's plenty of good off road (both cheeky & legal) – mail me if you don't know where! HTH

Or if you want to avoid the Hooray Henrys* at Low Newton, nip to the Jolly Fisherman at Craster for their crab sarnies and lovely home made chips – then across the road to Robsons for freshly smoked kippers!

*I did spot David Miliband there 🙂

Perhaps Michael Jackson’s personal physician could pop round and help you out?

I’m sure a whip round here would raise more than enough cash 🙂

Simon, that’s really crap news – I’ll be in touch – come over and ride one of mine….

Snapped my ACL at CYB in 2004.

Surgeon said too old at 58 for reconstruction. Carried on riding with titanium brace – eventually badgered surgeon to do op after MRI scan.

He carried out a patella graft (took length of tendon, drilled though knee and attached at either end)

Fortunate that my physio was ex Notts Forest physio in Brian Clough era – so he was tough. Discharged after 4 months. Good as new now – never think about it and at 63 still enjoying my riding!

I use Tracklogs to load routes onto my 605. It’s perfectly acceptable for following a route.

I usually print a copy off Tracklogs as a backup.

The ‘return to Start’ feature could be a lifesaver 🙂

Satmap could be the answer – but it’s relatively underdeveloped and supported as yet. It’s also damned pricey at the moment.

Really useful to download all the stats via the Garmin ‘Training Center’ programme too.
