Why is the zip on the other side of Mayhems? Is it it just mine cause I bought it in Spain?

Thanks dandax1990 and everone for tbe.lengthy replies.

Best fall yet was in front of a women jogging with her 6ish yr old daughter. The kid said something before I fell then they both laughed out loud as I toppled over.
When they passed me the mum said her daughter had just commented how good a rider I must be to be riding in the woods.

Thanks for the tips chaps. Yes got them on lowest tension and got platform type. Will practice on less technical trails I think.

Dandax1990… was getting sick of my feet moving about on my pedals, getting my foot position right etc. Still got my pair of neutrons just in case I want.to go back to them.

    teamhurtmore & junkyard, that’s what I have.

Find myself unclipping on some sections and when going downhill :/

Going to give them another month I think.
Also, never knew new leg muscles would be aching.

The real issue is being able to try each of the sizes on your favourite or local trails to see which is most suited (suites you sir). Without this ppl will just go with what they have been told or read.

I have some m596’s and use shimano pads with rt76 rotors. Changed my rear pads recently and its taken a month to bed them in. Took a very long steep path to finally sort the squeal out.

Also in the past had to take rotors off and boil them to get rid of contamination.

So as usual down to the individual. I don’t de grease the chain after every ride, but do wash it along with the rest of the bike..dry off, quick reapply of dry lube and its good for next time. Only takes 15mins for a full bike clean doesn’ it and well worth it IMO.

Funny..was just looking into this myself. Been using Muc Off Dry all year so far which has been good. I pretty much wash my bike down after every long ride, obviously not if its been really dry out there and everything is still nice, clean and shiny.

Used Muc off wet once and hated the stuff, it just makes a soup of grit and dirt in your chain.

With winter approaching looking for something a bit tougher than muc off dry so may try Rock n Roll Extreme.

EDIT: After looking through some reviews, seems a gripe is that you have to use a lot, may stick to the muc off dry – 125ml bottle has lasted me 500 miles of trial riding.

Though about the geometry change, suppose 20mm isn’t massive though.
Rockshox reba? Second hand Fox or SID? Depends if you want air or coil and what your budget is of course. Manitou look ok.

Think Yorkshire water have finished all their works for now. Those old tanks are getting filled at some point, but not heard of any tree felling plans. Anyway, im sure they won’t spoil the local woods whatever happens.

I never get left behind by people on 29ers, maybe I just have bigger thigh muscles or know when to change gears quicker.

Love me galaxy s4 but wouldn’t so much if I had small hands.

New nexus and gs5 coming out soon so maybe worth a wait to get them or better deals on the older phones.

Depends on what you intend to use it for and if you use other apple or google services. Im a big Google maps, docs user so Android was the best choice for me.

If you use strava or other route mapping apps make sure advanced privacy is enabled.

Thieves are know to use these to target cyclists.

Is it the 1mm spacer? I discovered I need it for my mavic crossrides on a 10 speed setup. Mavic spacer plus shimano.

Did anyone get to the bottom this? I have a full xt 10 speed setup, kmc chain. Noise seems to be from when the chain leaves the top jockey wheel. Everything straight. Not sure if I should invest in a xt chain to see if that helps.
