Shoe Goo worked surprisingly well for me. Used it on a pair of Solomon hiking trainers which I wear all the time about 18 months ago and sole is still very much still attached.

I don’t know what’s inside my water bottles, they are opaque

Wrap the tube in electrical tape and problem solved. All nice and out of sight, out of mind.

With Albon to Williams; how about a change of engine supplier for them? Honda/Redbull power to Williams, so they will have 3 teams. Merc: Maclaren and Aston. Ferrari: Alpha and Hass. Alpine all lonely.

he best races are when its close, that normally happens when some variable comes into play. So if you have more variables you have a better chance of a non-processional race, or a surprise outcome.

    So, variables are:
    Range of short lived tyres
    Pitstops forced due to tyres
    DRS allowing passing
Gravel traps so you are punished for going wide
    ……………….all of which we have.

    You could add in:
Much less practice time, track and simulator
The proposed wind tunnel time limits based on results is a good idea
Making it rain halfway round the track 🙂

Limiting fuel flow is no good for racing, that’s just a tool to force them to try to be green.

What about restricting practice time based on previous races finish position. Person who came 1st gets 50%, 2nd 55% etc. Would make no real difference to TV but would mean the winner of the previous race would have a harder time dialling in their car for the next.

Maybe that’s what the engineer/designer thinks. Will that survive contact with the public? Not a chance. In practice, it’s a button that says honk at cyclists.

Maybe it makes a cheery “Hello! Have a nice day” toot.

It is a secondary less aggressive horn. One for regular use that is mounted in the steering wheel centre and a ‘cyclist-friendly’ alternative that lets out a lesser ‘toot’ when the red button on the steering wheel is pushed.

Think this is a fantastic idea. Particularly as electric (silent) vehicles become more usual so have more capacity to startle with an unexpected (even if safe distanced) overtake.

I’ve got socks from tesco that must be 10 years old that are still going strong. Maybe its because i have a cushy office job rather than something manly and rugged but they do the job for me no problem.

My 10 year old girl has now pretty much grown out of fortnight! Perfectly fine for a 9 year old in my opinion. Make sure that the online chat settings are either disabled or set to friends only would be my only suggestion really. She’s polite, stops playing when asks, does well at school, very active and sports several nights a week and hasn’t stabbed or shot anyone to date. Online games are a part of childhood and growing up.

As for micro transactions; the game is free and the devs deserve to earn a wage. None of the items are performance enhancing; it is all cosmetic only so you don’t have to pay to win. After playing it for a while my girl wanted the battlepass (cost about £7 I think) which gives you loads of items for ‘free’ but also lets you earn the in game currency. Play it enough (which doesn’t seem to be an excessive amount) and you earn enough to buy the next seasons battlepass without having to spend any other real money. Just make sure that you don’t buy the battlepass the first time right at the end of a season.

We have block paving and it was there when we moved in 12 years ago. An occasional weed and its fine. Cant stand the look of the stamped resin drives. Think they look absolutely terrible. If you do that you may as well replace what grass you have left with astro for the complete barbie mansion look.

I remember when BBC sold out and started mainly highlights with a couple of full length races one of the races they took full length was Monaco! Who the **** decided that was a good one to take in its entirety?! If ever a race wants highlights only its this one.

Your school is partnering with a well known public school in an effort to raise standards. A benefit of this partnership will be a grant from the public school for new uniforms for all. Everyone will be receiving a free new uniform for next term. Show pictures of suitably rediculous toffy school uniforms.

Its weird; i use amazon for loads of stuff but it has always been a bit poor for bike things. Never had a single issue with anything brought from them. Think the only items i have ever tried to return (one an OS map i brought the wrong one of) they refunded the money and said to keep the item.

I have one from 2016 and am very happy with it although, in an ideal world it would be a bit lighter, more tyre clearance (38/40mm is max really) and hydrologic brakes.

Dont know if new ones have any more tyre clearance?

In reality, the hy/rd brakes are ok but I have routed the cabled slightly differently to specified to reduce the lever throw. When i first got it a slight cable kink (couldnt even see it) rentered the rear brake useless. That said, it rode the trans-cambrian way fully loaded and, apart from the break issue (and an exploded tyre) it had no issues.

The difficulty of drinking whilst descending was a key motivation for the development of the Camelbak.

So, 3 Camelbaks then? Drink, Soup and Angel Delight?

You could head to one shop and try a range of decent brands and always get sorted. Surely the whole point of a department store?

See, that does nothing for me at all. If I want a shirt I want to go to the shirt section, not hunt around 10 different ones.

Im currently building a pc and cant really get equivalent of a ps5 for £800. There are just too many key component shortages so any cpus/gpus that are about are seriously overpriced. For me though I want a PC at the moment and you always get better bang for buck from a console so not worrying about it.

Surely that would wake you up too much to be able to get back to sleep?
