    Hi James,

Great thanks – will there be any details of spec/colours etc released soon?

Saw the 2019 105 version at lunch. Sounds shallow but I didn’t like the colour scheme, the forks don’t match the frame (they are a different green colour finish).

Hoping to see the 2019 105 se next.

    Cheers

Size 54cm/m needed – the pinnacle looks good. I may wait to see if they release the 2019 model soon and try to grab a 2018 cheap.

I got my shed from screwfix which were quite a bit cheaper. Not sure if they do the shelves though

That would be well good. The frame and forks are in Sutton near Croydon – SM1 postcode

I’m in Leeds, W.yorks so not sure what I was thinking! 😐

I think what it looks like does matter a bit !

Do you think the cable brakes will be good enough for commuting? not planning to race on this thing

2018 se vs non se – se has different crankset, tyres and rims

2019 se is pretty much the same bike as 2018 se apart from full carbon fork.

2019 non se has the new 105 hydro groupset

Yeah 54cm is my size. I’ve seen that one thanks. I can get the SE version for only £40 more though so I think it would make sense to get that as its only a little extra.

This might come down to the paint job. I’d love hydro’s and the newer 105 levers/mechs but I don’t think I can stomach that green/fluro combo!

    I need a medium/54cm – I was after the 105 se version though.

There is one place which i’m going to try tomorrow.

The search goes on…. I’ve been told that the bike wasn’t infact in stock and is unavailable even after being allowed to go through the whole ordering process, including payment.

    Poor service from westbrookcycles 🙁

    Disappointed.

Yeah, wasn’t quite the deal I thought as I didnt get the topcashback I thought I would as it was a sale item – doh.

Going to stick with it anyway and yep – it has got spyre-c mechanical discs…. what would you do/get?

    Cheers

Any views on the Vitus currently on offer @ CRC?

Thru axle F+R and has mud guard mounts apparently…

What would you buy then? 🙂

Cheers for the ideas. I like the look of the NS Rag, but I have a double chainset so I think thats out.

There is a Vitus Energie carbon frame on CRC for £550 which looks good value – i’m just not sure about carbon for off-road stuff.

I have my eye on the Kinesis CX1 too. So much choice!

Cheers – Some ok options but nothing takes my fancy! those cube frames look decent but don’t come with forks.

PlanetX does look like good value – cheers. Not overly fussed about having an adventure frame

I’ve gone for the Cero AR24 evo’s – with the wider rims 😉 I should get them tomorrow! They just seemed good value for how much they weigh (important when riding in hilly west yorkshire!).

    Cheers for the help.

FunkyDunk: Where are you getting £189 for the Cero AR24? Look to be over £200 to me. They seem very good value!

Cheers, i’ve seen those RR21’s and they do look good. Probably shouldn’t matter but I would prefer the dark logos which are out of stock.

The AR30 evos get great reviews and seem really light.

Cheers for the recommendations, I think any of those would be good so I should probably just go with the ones that I like the look of best !

I got the money, so I can shop where-ever.

I don’t like the faff of disc brakes too much and the stock wheelsets seem to be pretty heavy by comparison I have found.

Cheers for the suggestions so-far !

Thanks all, we have two track lights in at the moment so the power is there already (but just needs extending out i’m guessing). We’re finding the track lights really blinding and we have dark spots too so I think spotlighting would be best. Good idea to have dimmers fitted so will look at that.

I wouldn’t discount Rodley or Farsley where you’ll get a bit more for your money. They are just down the hill from Horsforth and have some pubs and decent cafes. We bought it Horsforth but would look that way if we were to buy again.
