Cheers – yep I think i’d best leave the fitting to someone who know what they’re doing. The Kenwood looks good but we need a 100cm wide one really which they don’t do.

Thanks for the ideas, will def look at centre parcs, I had written it off as I thought it was for older kids really. We aren’t going in the school holidays so it may be affordable. Reckon he’ll be crawling still At 10months.

Sorry, good point – I’m doing an on road c2c – will be on a trusty trek road bike (with external gear cable along the top tube so I think a frame bag is out)

    Crikey: that’s v.kind of you – I’m in mighty Leeds 🙂

    Cheers

Thanks – that Alpkit big papa seat pack is £100

Is it better than an Apidura which is similar price and seems to get good reviews.

Thanks, the pod sacs do seem very cheap – two bags for £40 seems a steal.

Anymore experiences of them? I would pay a bit more if needed

Thanks, just went with that invision one from amazon, got really good reviews. Just hoping it comes out far enough but think it will just about be ok.

    Thanks for the help/recommendation

Cheers, are they all VESA? The spacing on the back for the brackets is a bit weird 400mm * 300mm – most of the VESA ones seem to be equally distanced

Sorry I probably should of put that. More leisure riding and trips to the shops.

Had a look at some cubes which seem good value for money.

I got one of those but couldn’t get the gauge on without it letting air out – could be that? 🙂

Ok cheers, interesting to know – did you have to do anything specific to set them up? Thanks

    Get some Aftershockz

Yeah thanks, that would help – its a 10 mile round trip commute, fairly flat – mostly on road but with a few off road options but nothing too gnar! It’s an all year round commute so would look to add mudguards. Secure parking at work.

Not sure there are too many alfine hub full build options, but i’m not sure why?

Looking at these, do you have to route the cables internally? Don’t really fancy having to disconnect/re-wire everything.

So I ended up getting the muc off tubeless repair kit – installed one of those little rubber strips and it sealed fine! Went for first tubeless ride last night and loved the lower pressures.

    Cheers for the help

Well I paid on paypal and the money has come out of my account. Order was over a week ago – still can’t get through to them, I don’t mind waiting in a queue but the line just says busy so not getting that far.

Thanks, I know it’s small but no other option really without encroaching on the “sunny bit” of the decking.

I’ll check those out – tiger sheds are local as well (i’m in Leeds).

    Cheers

I live in Horsforth and its a good place to be but is quite expensive for what you get. I would look at Rodley or Farsley for a bit better value for money and if you’re planning to bike in these also have easy access to the Leeds/Liverpool canal which is a great way to get into the city.

Cheers, how would the Axis mk5 compare to the joystick/diablo? It’s on offer too, for £99

Cheers, i’ve got agreement on a 2nd hand one as long as it’s in good condition, i’ve now switched the search to Ebay / Gumtree 🙂

Anyone got the Uppababy Cruz, what are the wheels like for general around town use / occasion grass in park type off-road?

Great advice, cheers. Now looking at the UP Vista (although I think it may be a bit big due to it allowing for two seats). The baby jogger wasn’t on the radar as I hadn’t thought of a running type one. Going to John Lewis tomorrow so will check both these out.

    @DT78
: Thanks, would of been interested but we’re in west yorkshire.

How would you lock the bike to an anchor (in a concrete bucket)? What would you use? Thinking of doing this… cheers

Yep should be able to use a monitor (if its a newer monitor you may already have a HDMI input?)

You can also increase the amount of bluetooth connections by running the companion app on iphone/android – so some of your devices could pair to your phone for stats. I think it’s bluetooth only though.

I have a wahoo tickr armband HR which works well for me..
