Yes it will shift over but it will not spring back into position after the shift. I don’t have the brake cable attached currently so i’m wondering if that’s it or if there is a spring inside that is knacked.

Yeah I heard about the fork replacement but that should be sorted now. There was also a problem with the cranks too I think.

Not on the halford’s scheme it is a strict £1000 limit from what I can tell. The cyclescheme definately seems like the better one. I have last years pro 100 which is very similar apart from slightly less travel. It it has a fairly long top tube but i’ve stuck a shorter stem (75mm) and its been great out on the trails, really comfy. The frame is well built, especially around the head top so it can take a fair whack. It quite light too at 12kgs.

The glass is $50 shipping on top! argh!

Looking at the archives, the last issue I recieved was 59.

I've got a Cube AMS Pro 100 and I like it, chain reaction are doing some good deals on it at the moment or you could wait for the new models to come out if you want a bit more beef (they have 110mm travel)

bontrager race lite hard case – i'm on my 2nd set now and i've not had a single puncture! they last well too, i must have done a few thousand on my first set i reckon. They aren't that light though but they are cheap, about a tenner each…
