one of the things to remember about the BakFiets is that it is used alot for transporting kids, which I think is a much more practical / safer solution than having them sat on the back of an Xtracycle or similar. Horses for courses I guess.

In about 2 years time interest rates are going to move so fast the other way we’ll be getting nosebleeds as they go up. Make hay with those savings as you’ll need ’em.

Thanks for all the recommendations, I went with “American Gods” as sounds very interesting. Also purchased “A Simple Act of Violence” which i discovered on the Waterstones website.

Here are some recommendations from me to you:

    1. “World War Z”
    2. “The Road” – as recommended above, terrifying and brilliant
    3. “No Country For Old Men” – if you liked the film the book is even better
    4. “Layer Cake”
    5. “Chart Throb” great satire on pop star reality TV shows
    6. “Catch 22” – one of my all time favs
    7. “Filth” – classic Irvine Welsh

    Happy reading!

I’m sure the more fashionable types within your target audience would love this type of vid but I reckon us STW users would have been more interested in a vid of “proper mtb riding” on one of your knobbly tyre machines.

Instead you showed us three “cool urban” types wearing skinny jeans taking it to the max by doing skids and drop offs my four year old could make.

    You did ask.

I have the tool on Wiggle, which is fine when you don’t apply too much pressure but no good when it gets tough.
